Love Mufti Menk, Love his talks, love his recitation of Allahswt's words, love his passion and energy his humour his smile and everything else besides. What an awesome human being . May Allah swt keep him safe and happy first in this world and that we see him in Jannah too ameeen. :)
I love the example he gives of some things you need and some things you want, so you need to prioritize. You WANT to go under water, but you NEED to breathe. So you need to prioritize, and you need to prepare: go under water with a mask to let you breath (or if you don't have a mask, don't go under water, even though you want to). Subhan'Allah! We NEED to obey our creator, but we WANT to obey our nafs. We need to prioritize.
Assalam Alaykum, I don't think I need a reason to love this sheikh other than for the sake of ALLAH. WALLAHi everytime he recites my heart trembles. Jaz'ak ALLAHu khair @muftimenkrox for all these life changing uplaoads. May ALLAH grant us deeper understanding and Jannah

I can totally relate with how tough the climb is, though in a different way :). You should totally watch the 2012 lectures of prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) by Mufti Menk. And lol :D yeah we do like quoting Qur'anic verses. Remember though- Life is short, We die longer than we will live and the doors of ALLAH are always open.

I have a simple question to be asked if anybody could give me an authentic answer based on quran & sunnah of Prophet ( peace be upon him)..Is mix gathering allowed in ISLAM ( MEN & WOMEN)??
Assalamualaikum. i actually have a question, when i find someone around me be wrong, and it's needed to say at least a few words to make them feel that he is wrong, and needs to change himself, but I fear noticing his arrogance that, he might go worse in that case because i spoke about that. i feel so confused about this matter. what should I do? if i don't say anything will Allah ask me about it with anger?
