But also keep in mind tomarrow is not guaranteed take the shahada before our last day b3cause we don't know when our last day is. Take it immediately un officially infront of 2 witnesses could be in a home or anywhere just say the kalima shahada. Just b3cause we don't know what day is our last and inshallah once that is done your are muslim alhumdulillah and may day the next day if Allah wills but as a Muslim. And officially aftwr you can take your shahada in the masjid infront of friends or family with the imam on youe 50th birthday. ALLAH KNOWS best inshallah. May Allah reward you inshallah.
I love mufti because he doesn't simply lecture, he actually touches peoples hearts with humor and wit. I cannot stand boring lectures where I dont learn anything at all, and that's why mufti is my go to for knowledge on Islam

Sheikh as you already know is akin to priest or reverend, but if you spell it “shirk”… in Arabic, it actually means “to deny God”, or “to worship other than God”. So you may want to be extra careful about the spelling. :)
May Allah prolong the life of Mufti Menk who keeps sharing with us the Devine Commandments of Allah and reminding us what to avoid and what are wajib according to how the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) did as such for us to follow. Muslims have no Islamic counsellors to sit down with and save their marriages or families. Menke is our best help. It doesn't really address specific situations . We need our mosques to help out like the prophet once did, peace be upon him.

Also try Bilal Phillips, Nouman Ali Khan, Bilal Assad (he has an end of days series which is very good). I hope these brothers can be beneficial to you & give you keys to help you increase your Iman, InshaAllah. Amin! Great talk, thank you! The root of the term اثم means something heavy, it is the act or thought that we do/have that make us feel heavy inside. It is beautiful how every term used in the Quran to refer to sin has a metaphorical meaning that makes sense when we look internally.

I was and probably still is an angry, unhappy person. Anyone could of sense my unhappiness from a mile away. Now I am beginning to find calmness & contentment in my life. It shows in my Presence. My relationship with the mother of my daughter is getting better, I am beginning to be the kind of father I know I can be. I am not yet a Muslim plan to take My shahada during Ramadan but all praise to Allah. thank Mufti for your kind understanding words and leading me to Allah.

If we forget to repent but we feel bad for committing a sin, Allah might forgive us. If we don't repent at all, he may forgive us out of mercy just for believing or for being kind. It's better to repent just in case.
In the old testament also God said in the Psalms Cast your care on Him for He care for you, again God said trust in the Lord with whole your heart and not lean on your own understand.
