OMG Capt Akelish was my ground flight instructor back in flight school in the Philippines.
Glad to see him again, safe flight always
Very cool to have an in flight live Q&A. Thanks for the stories and tips.
Great video Captain, loved the format of the Q&A during cruise plus the landing at the end, amazing!
The vacuum cleaner story reminded me of my mum buying a Voorwerk one in Larvik from a door-seller in… 1978 or so. It was a great machine, and lasted into the ‘00s.
Yes, I know - not relevant to anything… But, on behalf of people becoming IRL pilots (I’m just a flightsim’er…), I highly appreciate you sharing your experiences…!
Hei Magnar, great video, you do a lot of good for newbies that wanna make it in this career, that can be difficult! Good memories when we flew together in Coast Air!
Hello Capt. Magnar! I really love your videos, a lot of good information regarding the ATR. Hoping if I can get a shout out from you. I'm from the Philippines and rated also in the ATR. Thank you!! and safe flight always.
Are you from CebuPac?
Thanks Magnar!!!
Thank you capt.
Hello guys. How do you record the cockpit audio? Amazing video by the way!
Can you explain what you said upon landing on the roll out? Too low pitch?
"Two low pitch." That means the pitch angle of both propellers are controlled by the power levers (also called beta mode,) which means reverse is available.
hi capt magnar. my regards to your FO. i flew with him before when he was based in cebu. happy landings.
He was my instructor also,Studied in dumaguete City
superbe video avec son orginalité de répondre aux "Q&A" en vol , dans le cockpit de cet ATR 42 ..c'est bien , j'apprécie cela ..fly safe captain and first officer ..; 😉🤙
Fantastic video!
Thats a gorgeous cockpit view
I’m a pilot as well, and I sold vacuum cleaner door to door for 5 years.
Hello Capt I will love to know more about the FO he seems lovely and knowledgeable
CENTERLINE!
excelent video.
captain akhi my instructor 10 years ago.
Bra Magnar 🙂
Tusen takk!
Pilots: Don't get too cozy in the cockpit, that leads to accidents. Stay focus and alert to sound changes produced by the engines, scan the sky, seek your spot for an emergency landing so if it happens you are better prepared. Time to lean, time to clean!
Lol this is not a single engine piston
Show.
The Jetsream is a real pilot aircraft isn't it Captain? Flew it several years as FO...
Yes, the Jetstream is a pilot-maker.
yall left some grease on the runway
I saw your plane on flightradar
Why the Captain takes over the throttles after landing.
At 70 kts, the captain takes control of the aircraft: Nose wheel steering, rudder, brakes and power levers, which also are used for reverse. (Throttles are used in jet aircraft.)
Ok)))
Where did you land?
Kadhdhoo
You have ghost or semi-transparent woman in your jump seat!
The curse of the 360 camera...
I want to see a flatspin
