Before receiving my job offer, I have booked a trip to Korea to visit my in-laws. Yes, I am married and my husband is Korean. Sorry for not sharing earlier as I like to keep some of my life private rather than sharing it all online. He's back in Korea now to be with my MIL as she hasn't been well and is going through treatment. Because I'm unemployed and not working anyway, I booked a trip to visit them as it has been 3 years since the pandemic that I've visited.
Stayed in Seoul for the first 2 days, met up with one of my Korean teachers who brought me to the Hangeul Museum which surpassed my expectations. The exhibition was more interesting that I had expected. We went to have tteokbokki after that and it's seriously one of the best tteokbokki I had. My husband came over to Seoul on the first night.
The next day I went to Express Bus Terminal to shop and then went for Sulwahsoo Facial which was a really good experience.
On the 3rd day, I traveled with my husband back to his hometown. I still didn't know how to get there myself. We had to take a bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to his hometown in Donghae which takes about 3 hours from Seoul. The trip is now shorter due to new highways being built. It used to take longer to reach Donghae from Seoul.
My parents in laws are very kind and my MIL kept cooking and feeding us. Felt quite bad to be just eating there but she wouldn't allow me to help also.
My FIL drove out out for some sightseeing the next day and to have dongtaetang or some kind of fish stew with plenty of ingredients inside.

Understand. Almost all of my close friends are single too. I had a hard time revealing it to them when I was dating too and didn’t know when would be the best time to share. In the end, I shared with them one month before I was to be married because I wanted to invite them to my ceremony. It’s bad timing, I know. I didn’t share about my husband in the beginning when I started the vlog because I was just filming my daily life and he didn’t want to be filmed and eventually it became harder and harder to share too. 😳
I also understand how you feel! I was also dating when most of my friends were single and I didn’t know how to break the news. But still supporting and loving your vlogs! :)) ❤❤ you don’t have to apologise!

I’m a new subscriber. I enjoy watching your vlogs. I was telling my 18 yr old daughter that I love your 🏠 interior design … the colour scheme… it’s so Muji look , soothing, comfy and uncluttered. The pots and pans are exactly the type I like. And I was telling my daughter when we do renovate our kitchen, I want a white tile wall like your kitchen. I love watching those vlogs which is just subtitles without speaking and soft instrumental BGM. Love the font against the black background, easy to read.

I was convinced you are single cos you have 2 plushies on your bed, I don’t see any signs of 2nd person staying in your 🏠 and you spend a few days every week at your mom’s place so I thought you must be single but wear a gold band on your finger just so you won’t have to answer to Kay Poh people about your marital status.
My mum is elderly and is alone if I don’t stay with her so I’m living a few days with her every week. And I think there's nothing wrong with having plush toys just because you're married. 😅
Of course there’s nothing wrong to have plushies on bed.
I made that statement based on my personal experience some 19 years ago when I moved into my ex’s flat and brought my plushie and placed it on his bed and he kicked it off the bed cos it occupied space. 😂

Viewers are entitled to their feelings, while you are also entitled to how much of your life that you want to share here too. At least, I don't think you have misled people by declaring that you are single or whatnot. The viewers could guess from the traces and little hints from past videos - if they really want to.

wow! So shocked you are married because from your house video (esp changing bedsheets video), i cannot tell it is a queen size bed at all :X You also go out with your friends often so i guess it is good your husband still let you socialise (relatively often) with your own friends (because some videos i seem to have impression there are only 2 people at meal table :X) Okay, guess i said too much but happy for you in any case.

@@eueuandbunny thanks for the tiny details but my advice (and many other people's advice) is husband and wife should try to live together as much as possible. i know your hubby got to take care of MIL etc so i dont know which option is do-able for you. If your job allows you to WFH, maybe you can consider working from Korea, haha. If not, maybe you can consider flying to Korea more often (or he flies to SG more often) Like Friday night go Sunday night leave kind or arrange so that it coincides with your WFH days; at least once a month. I know all these may sound unrealistic but if there's a will, there's a way. For your consideration and sorry if i intrude too much. :X

I had a stressful time when I got married so we only registered the marriage in my tiny house with a few friends and family invited. Less then 20 paax and that’s it. I just bought a gown from ZALORA that cost less than $50 to wear for the ceremony. 😅 I just wanted it over and done with ,think because I was quite stressed at that time so I didn’t want to share anything about my marriage online too. 😅 There was no professional photographer or anything. Pics were taken by friends.

Don't quite understand why anyone can be upset with you having found your happiness & choosing not to showcase it...cos marriage is one aspect of your life...and your life consists of multiple parts which you've shared quite openly on your vlog.
