Eueu’s Vlog - Jeju Travel Part 2: Snoopy Garden, Mongle Bakery, Waterfalls, Tea Plantation

Travel Vlog.
Day 2 in Jeju. It was a rainy day so we went to Snoopy Garden by calling taxi through Kakao Taxi app. We got a cab almost instantly. Entrance is 15,000₩ for adult. We explored the indoor exhibition first and chilled out at the cafe until the rain stopped before heading outdoor to explore the garden. It was interesting and there was many nice photo spots.
We went to explore Woljeong-ri beach. It's also near the Mongle bakery which sells the cute cloud cookies which we of course made a trip to. (IG: @mongle_jeju)
Day 3 in Jeju. We were moving Airbnb today from Hado-ri which was located on the eastern side of Jeju to Aewol which is more on the western side. While traveling to Woljeong beach the day before, we met a very helpful and kind Taxi driver. So we engaged him to bring us to our 2nd Airbnb on the 3rd day. He came early to fetch us but rather than sending us direct to our Airbnb, he proposed to bring us around before sending us back. For our trip, we didn't book any driver to bring us around as the fee was usually quite costly. But our taxi driver quoted us 160,000₩ which was very reasonable considering he would bring us to various locations and send us to our 2nd Airbnb. We thought it was a good deal and went with it.
He brought us along for a tour around Seogwipo (south side of Jeju). First stop was a Folk Village where a village head came out to greet us and brought us around on a tour of his village.
2nd location was Jeongbang Waterfall, 3rd Olle Maeil traditional Market for lunch, 4th Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, 5th Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff for the hexagon rocks. Last stop he proposed was Camellia Hill but we requested for Osulloc as I really wanted to visit the tea plantation. And so, we ended up visiting 6 locations and also get to travel to our 2nd Airbnb. It was a very good deal. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

He only speaks Korean with some words of English. He uses translations app to communicate with us.
Our 2nd Airbnb is located in a very remote area. It's truly out there in the countryside. Our taxi driver commented that we "brought" him to new places with our uncommon Airbnb as most people stayed in the city. We loved that the 2nd Airbnb has the most friendly dog "Labong" (from Hallabong) and we were truly right amongst the locals there. And that ended our 3rd day in Jeju.

The host is a couple. They are very kind and friendly. The wife seems to only know Korean. The husband speaks some Chinese with us so it's best if you know some Korean if you intend to book this place. Most of the reviews are also from locals (Koreans).

I'm loving these travel vlogs. Jeju looks so interesting and also peaceful. Like you, I prefer to stay in less touristy areas to get to know places a bit better. The downside can be that they are more remote sometimes but I agree that it's usually worth it. x
