If a scene from the Sentai footage did not include much talking, then it woudn't get many lines in the PR version either. I feel like these days people think that kids are so dumb that if you don't have the character say something every 10th second, they will change channel. Its really annoying. If this particular scene had been adapted today, we would have lines like: "Here is my golden handshake!" "You can't defeat me! I am good as gold!" "Looks like I win the gold medal!" and so on.

The exclusive Ranger footage from this period was purely from the American side. It was made by Alpha Stunts head by Sakamoto Koichi who joined around the time of the so called "Alien Rangers" era. Alpha Stunts has stayed with Power Rangers ever since and Sakamoto Koichi about a decade ago or so has gone on to Japan to make the Sentai series and other Toei Japanese superhero shows himself. The only time when Toei themselves made any exclusive for use in Power Rangers was Zyu2.
It's still the Japanese footage, they reused it in different parts, it's not noticeable when you watch the show but if you watch carefully this video you will notice it.For instance, where they supposedly dropped from the megazord it's still the same scene at the beginning when the monster overpowers them and they fall.
lol I like it when the Ohrangers say "He's really strong". As if that wasn't obvious from the way he's walking through the guys that you struggled to defeat like 2 minutes ago. On a sidenote the King Ranger/Gold Ranger costume is one of my faves of all. The black goes well, and the gold shield/accents go amazing.

The color of KingRanger in OhRanger is black with gold as contrast to what Saban appiled as the Gold Ranger (later revealed to be Riki's counterpart Trey of Triforia). He was 600,000,000 Years Old in 1999 (now 600,000,018 in 2017). He has a weapon called King Stick/Golden Power Staff in which the finisher is King Victory Flash. In mecha/zord fight, Bara Goblin/Wolfbane overpowered OhRanger Robo/Zeo Megazord and Red Puncher/Red Battlezord until it was defeated by King Pyramider's Super Burn Wave/Pyramidas' Lightning Attack. But, Machine Beast Tamer Keris/Quelis had taken Riki and Paku away right into the dimension. Bara King/Altor had battled the OhRangers who believed that Riki is now evil. But, Riki and Paku had just got out of the dimension to save Dorin (played by Risa/Lisa Wada) and the OhRangers from the attacks made by Bara King and Keris/Quelis. It's a shame that Shouji Yamaguchi and Risa/Lisa Wada did not return in Kaizoku Sentai Goukaijaa (Pirate Squadron Gokaiger/Heroic Rangers) in 2011. Brad Hawkins voiced Trey of Triforia/Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo.

I love how in Japanese The Tiger Ranger from Dairanger(white ranger in US) and the King Ranger from OhRanger(Gold Ranger in US) were both kids. Kou(white) was 10 & Riki(gold) was 12. Even though Riki is 1,000+ years old but didn’t age from being frozen just like the Zyuurangers
It’s crazy how MMPR used the original Japanese footage for 95% of their fights. They also used different Zords, Rangers, & costumes from other sentai series but placed them all in the MMPR series and kept that series running longer. They used the costumes and Megazord from Zyuuranger for MMPR season 1. Season 2 they used ONLY the Tiger Ranger costume(didn’t use the 5 other ranger costumes) & the zords(thunder zord & white tiger zord) from Dairanger. Season 3 they used the ninja mode outfits(cloth outfit with hoody up), Ninjor, & the Ninja Falcon Megazord… but they all were in MMPR. That’s why I tell people all the time now when MMPR is brought up to watch the REAL Japanese sentai versions starting with Zyuuranger and you’ll love it even more. MMPR had a seeet opening though, can’t deny that 🤣🤣🤣 but I prefer Dairanger opening theme way more though & Zyuuranger theme…
A funny thing was...when PR Zeo aired in Germany you could as normal buy the toys of course..but we for some reason we got the Gold Zeo morpher..wish was never shown or used oin Power ranger Zeo. so i was kinda confused when i got that one for Christmas because i din´t´know it existed ^^

Power Rangers used the multiverse route for the sake of continuity, even though it doesn't make sense. Case in point, the "New Powers" from Super Megaforce.

Damnm I was going to say the American fights were better, but when the Japanese Gold Ranger started fighting, he literally smacked the shit out of the, I can't remember their name's, bad guy robot.
I don't know what video source the Ohranger clips are from, but the video colouring from that Jetix recording looks so much better side by side to the sentai scene. I wonder if they oftern altered colours of the sentai footage when using it on Power Rangers
in PR they use a lot of saturation and sometimes darken the edits of the original footage for their use.
