How close together can you grow melons. I have been growing cantaloupe
for about four years now. In four holes about 16 - 18 inches around in a
15 x 10 foot area. I put about 3 plants in each hole and end up with
about 100 cantaloupe per season. interested in input on others results
problems with close planting melons like these
Melons need room to roam. Space plants 36 to 42 inches apart. Or, to save space, plant melons 12 inches apart at the base of a trellis.
Thanks for the video. How do you water the plants if you put black plastic down? Also, how do the bees get through the insect barrier to pollinate?

Hi. Can you plant a variety of melons on one cattle panel? For example: cantaloupe and honeydew on the same trellis?
Yes you can Amanda, just need to train them to climb upwards, I live in the uk and am trying to grow melons in hydroponic due to we got a short summer and live in the cold climate side, iv uploaded videos on my hydroponic melon seedlings on my channel if interested check it out, and let me know what your comments are what am doing👍

Hello there very nice melons you have been harvested, am trying to grow melon in the uk this year, I live in the cold climate side and I know its gonna be impossible due to we got a short summer in uk, but am doing it in hydroponic to speed the process up, if interested please check my channel out and leave us a comment what you think what am doing👍
