    You are a GODSEND! I paid $40 twice for the Jira admin cert and wound up dropping the courses both times because Atlassian's tutorials aren't updated after they deploy major UI changes. It was too frustrating to follow. Your tutorials are always up to date and easy to follow. Thank you!

    I've setup SSO access for my company domain, how can I guarantee that anyone signing into jira via SSO will be a default customer only? IS Active directory provisioning a way to go and if so do you have a video that covers AD provisioning? Loving these videos Alex, it's can be confusion with Jira permissions and you bring a needed clarity

    Hello. Question. For major incident jira there is this Stakeholder field to provide notifications but you have to type each user's name to add. Is there a better way to alert bigger number of employees for major incidents? They will not participate but just needed to be informed.

    Hi Alex...Great videos and thank you for sharing . Quick question, ive added a user to a product via the users and groups in Atlassian admin . There are currently 2 projects withing the group that he has been added to. How do i only allow the user to have access to one project and not the other ?

      Do you have company or team managed projects?

      @@ApetechTechTutorials , we have team managed projects

    • @ApetechTechTutorials

      @@mohammednaidoo6038 Then this should be fairly easy. Close your project and then explicitly call out who can join/see your project.

    Hi Alex, I have a question please : what is the difference between a user and a customer? because we find a lot of "customer" mention in JIRA documentation, thanks a lot

    how to define a chapter in Jira and report on chapter's progress on work and utilisation of resource ?

    • @ApetechTechTutorials
      @ApetechTechTutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      Chapter = Sprint? I'm not familiar with Chapters in Jira.

    • @MrJarod2003

      @@ApetechTechTutorials sorry chapters are people with same craft, say data analyst in one chapter, but they all work in different squads, sqauds for marketing, product, online etc.

    • @ApetechTechTutorials
      @ApetechTechTutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrJarod2003 Ahh . . in that case, you'll want to either use a group (visible by admins only) or a custom field named Chapter.

      @@ApetechTechTutorials are you ok to make a video around setting up group and how to use group to track team performance ? :)

    • @ApetechTechTutorials
      @ApetechTechTutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrJarod2003 The Jira group isn't accessible to normal users. So, making a group wouldn't be feasible. If you are on Jira Cloud Premium, you do get a TEAM field that would do exactly what you are looking for. I could do a video on that.

    this didn't help, as it doesn't handle the fact that it is possible to have people in your org in a group that have access to a project even thought they are not directly listed on the project

    Sorry to say this, but your videos are brutal. You do more talking than showing how to use Jira.

      I'm sorry you feel that way. If you find a better video that explains it better, let me know.
