Great job! They looked awesome! I think I am going to get myself a nice tumbler set up like yours. It was only somewhat recently that it dawned on me that all of those fun, colorful, glassy polished stones you see for sale, start out just lookin like rocks! LOL So if I can go around and pick up a handful of raw rocks, tumble them, and generally speaking turn out some super sleek tumbled stones, that sounds like a great time to me! I'm so happy that you want to learn about rocks! My whole life, I have had rocks in my pocket. Much to my mother's disdain.
Three pound barrels usually only hold 2 pounds of rock so you might want to try a bit less grit, especially if you find rocks stuck to the bottom.
That's what I am finding out. It was too much grit in the beginning. Thank you.

This was an experiment, just to see if I could do it. I have given a few away to family and friends.
