Thank you! I have been searching forever to be able to have this option on my Samsung Andriod device! Finally, a developer figured it out, and now Andriod users can experience the same HTML email signature option as Apple IOS users. Great video, excellent tutorial. Well done 💯!! Google should've implemented this feature themselves, as you'd think that since they are the developers of the Android OS that they would want their software to have the same, if not more features that what they provide to Apple IOS users on a Google owned App! This is awesome but it's still pure lunacy that we can't just have this natively in the Gmail app and automatically on every email.. like what are they thinking and why is nobody talking about it !
People have been requesting this feature for years: issuetracker.google.com/issues/69060926 - iOS users just need to tick a box and they're good to go, but unfortunately us Android folks need to come up with our own solutions... Oh well.

Not sure who this will help, just worked for me. So on my foldable device (Galaxy Fold 3) if i am using the small front screen the option for inserting the HTML signature is there. However, as soon as i got into unfolded (main large screen) the option is not longer there. No idea why.

Amazing. I have this working with my signature, but my signature I created in Pages, has to group everything, the copy and paste to docs for it to work as a signature anywhere. Please do a video on how to make the signature and how to make it html. Thanks buddy.
Sorry, but it takes some knowledge of HTML code in order to create an email signature using HTML. My business is creating HTML email signatures for those who don't have those skills.

What box do you click on Apple for it to show up in the Gmail app while using an IPhone?
For Gmail on iOS devices, as long as it’s properly installed in Gmail on the web, just make sure that “mobile signature” is turned off in the Gmail app on your iPhone/iPad by going to Settings > Signature Settings > un-tick “Mobile Signature”.
It won’t show up when you’re composing a message on your phone, but it will pull your signature from where you originally installed it in Gmail and send it along with your message.
Hi, I copied and pasted, all words are copied like name, business address BUT not the HTML IMAGE - BUSINESS LOGO! Any ideas, it looked so easy when you demonstrated, thanks.
Without knowing what your HTML code looks like, it's hard to guess... Is the logo (and any other graphics) hosted on an external server and properly referenced in the code?

Still confused tho how to add the signature on the gmail app. I have a work email in the gmail app and configured in the gmail web app but doesnt display and nor does it display for my main gmail account.

@@makallacom I meant on the android app on the phone. Gmail how to enable install there since when I open the app there isnt an option for signature
@@antonmesilajr It's not possible in Gmail on Android, hence this video showing a workaround with the 3rd party "HTML Signature" app.
@@makallacom I understand, you show in the video from the 3 dots "insert from html signature" I have it installed in gmail in the web but how do i use it now in the gmail app as you show in the video?

Okay I found the problem, I have it in my gmail account but as I have my work email also in the gmail app then it seems it wont allow to use the "insert from html signature" on the other account.. Wonder if there is a workaround this also?
On the web it allows to pick all emails.
Sounds like an interesting app. I get slightly concerned when I see the right to access my data permissions. Including connecting to an external service, seeing my personal information, managing draft and sending emails and running as a Gmail add-on. This is even before I look at the terms of service or the privacy policy. I would love to add a logo and pictures to my emails coming from my android phone.
I'm not pushing the use of this add-on as I'm not the creator... Below are 2 other options that I've been recommending for years before discovering this add-on:
1. Use the Spark Mail app, which is a great third party email client... You can add your email account credentials to Spark Mail and any emails sent/received will sync with every other email client that has those credentials added (e.g. Gmail). In Spark Mail, you would install the signature per these instructions: th-cam.com/video/w3-AQcnsEB0/w-d-xo.html
2. Bypass the Gmail mobile app entirely and access Gmail at mail.google.com via the Chrome Browser app. As long as the signature is properly installed in Gmail on a desktop/laptop, it will work on the mobile website just fine. You can even add a shortcut to your mobile Gmail account on your home screen by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right of the Chrome Browser and selecting "Add to Home screen"
@@makallacom What I've been doing is opening the email I had replied to (or a recent one) and just selecting/copying/pasting from there to the new one. It's a few extra seconds.
This is a nice solution, but it just infuriates me more that they haven't gotten this implemented natively for Android users yet.

@@MBrulla Thanks for the props bud... What a lot of people did before this app was similar to your solution... Create a lot of Drafts via Gmail on PC/Mac and use those as needed for emails: however, this app eliminates a lot of that hassle in just few clicks. I have no investment in this app... It just works well for what we need.

You need to design the email signature using HTML code... I believe Canva is only used for creating static graphics, which could also be used as an email signature, although it wouldn't be functional/clickable.

Unfortunately, no... Outlook on Android is now pretty much the only major mobile email app that there isn't an HTML email signature solution for.
I usually steer Outlook/Android people to the Spark Mail app, and have them add their Outlook credentials there.
Hello, this solution worked in one of my gmail account where didn't work in another gmail account. Everytime im trying to install this to another Gmail account, getting a bad request error. Unable to troubleshoot the reason. Please help.

The issue that I have is I changed my HTML signature on my desktop, but that change is not showing up on my android phone. Does anyone know how to update it to show on the android?
You need to install (copy/paste) the new email signature in the HTML Signature app again per the instructions in the video... Your old email signature is likely still in the HTML Signature app, where it pulls from when you insert it on Android... Hope this helps!

I don't host anything on Google Drive, but instead host all graphics on an Amazon AWS server for the highest reliability.
@@makallacom your video doesnt explain how to install a html signature on a gmail APP using a mobile. I use a andrioid and theres a HTML signature add on that you can install and have your desktop signature the same as a mobile signature. Im having issues with html signature add on, it wont save my edit

The instructions work just fine for me; however, I didn't create the add-on, so perhaps reach out to the add-on developer to see if they can assist you?
I've just discovered you can save your signature as an HTML file, put this on your phone, open it up on your phone, select all, copy, go to compose email, paste, now you have the signature in the mail, no need for all this nonsense
