Excellent example of; "Necessity is the mother of invention." I live on a small island where such Asian style of crockery is difficult if not impossible to find. Your solution to a problem did cross my mind. Presently, I use a vintage ceramic jelly mould to create my lather and use the traditional shaving scuttle (as you do), to keep the lather warm. However, I am fortunate to have a potter 10 minutes away and a pottery teaching studio 30 minutes away; the latter is run by an acclaimed master potter. I have two shaving scuttles on order to my own bowl interior specifications with ridges and bumps to aid lathering. 1 in the traditional colours of the local pottery and with an open spout, and the other in a "Raku" colour design with a stopper. Looking forward to using my scuttles in the next few weeks.
Fantastic idea and video. I went to a local Korean market and bought what appears to be identical bowls. $6.99 and $7.99 respectively and made in Korea. Also bought some delicious burn your lips off hot kimchi ! Thanks for sharing this idea.
I did this and it really works wonders. Lather stays nice and warm for longer than needed. Thank you so much! I think it even looks a lot better than most scuttles you can find in shops!

I love Raku pottery! Are you going to make a video revealing the opening of your package? 😁
@@modernshaver3356 It did not cross my mind; however, I might just do that. ;-)
Güzel bir çalışmaydı 🙏🙏

facelathering with a boar brush such as Omega 10098 is what a like the most
