Enjoy the time with your families! Even as a Jewish kid, Christmas was a surreal day. Everything is closed, and all your friends get cool stuff! This year has been pretty surreal in the first place, so this should be interesting.
The hand guards are very popular in the off-road motorcycle world, they are generally called “bark busters”. As an enduro rider personally they are essential and I could never live without them.
My haters throw rocks at me and it hurts. I hope they don't throw The Rock at me because I like him as an actor. GAGAGAGAGA!!! I am funny!!! For more amazing jokes you have to visit my YT site, dear geo
(i know im like 2 months late) it could be a ride through tree house, perhaps a new addition to the berm peak express? a ramp up, ramp down, and a area in the treehouse with a table for a rest stop. keep some water or snacks in there, if a rider is tired or they need more water they can stop in there, kinda like a drive thru lol
Instead of forking out the cash for expensive "mountain bike specific" hand guards, I just bought a pair of MotoX ones - they're cheaper & a lot better looking imo
That steel bleed cup looks like a great way to strip the threads on you brake bleed port... Those threads are tiny and not at all hard to strip out. My wife did it accidently while reinstalling the bleed port screw.
For the brush guards you could use expanding wall bolts as used in the building trade. These are so much easier and the grip inside the handlebars is phenomenal!
I think one of the benefits of the Sound Helm is you get the music without totally blocking your hearing. Riding with earbuds in instead could be potentially dangerous. It's similar to wearing Aftershokz headset while running - you want to hear if a car is coming or whatever else is around you.
Happy Hanukkah Seth! I’d like to take a moment to thank you for all of your amazing content! I’m an old dude, 58, and started riding my bike again when Covid hit. I started binge watching your videos about a month ago. You’ve inspired me to take it up a notch or three. I definitely won’t be doing any jumps or bombing it downhill, but I love your work ethic and your enthusiasm. Truly inspirational. Thanks again brother! Stay well! PS: I sorry you lost Drama...good boy
You could easily solve the Bomber strap problem with piece of half cut pool noodle with some velcostrap hotglued to it. There, a free DIY trick for all you tailgate paint job ruiners, for free for X-mas.
The sound helm is actually dope because you can ride and listen to music while you're still experiencing nature, talking with biking buddies, or most importantly able to hear and be aware of your surroundings.
That bar alignment jig brought a little tear to my eye. A must for every shop. I look at my bars over and over and still get them just slightly off. I think the little helmet speakers are safer than earbuds. A cool solution. Merry Christmas, Seth!
The bleeding cup is usually in plastic so to be sure that the thread that is going to be weared out is going to be the one of the cup and not the one of the brake lever.
My biggest concern with a metal bleed cup is cross threading. If you're careful, no big deal, but if you screw it up, I'd rather trash a bleed cup than my lever. Looks super fancy though
bro i love your content. you inspired meto start riding mtb so i got a norco mtb for christmas and some of your stickers and socks. merry christmas and by the way the socks feel great !

Hi Guys- this is "GEO." We did some research since this video came out. We were a little disappointed with the preview so we thought we'd clarify a few items. All of our components are CNC machined to precise specifications. All of the standard and heavy duty aluminum and carbon fiber bars that we have encountered are 22mm plus/minus 0.1mm. Some are slightly oval but still very close. The way that titanium bars are manufactured involves stretching the material, which results in a smaller diameter. While this is perfectly strong and safe, it means that "22mm bars" are not actually 22mm. We also think that there was not enough coefficient of friction between our aluminum expansion plugs and the titanium, due to the hardness of the titanium. Our expansion plugs expand up to 22.5mm, which is more than enough to ensure tightness. We have sold these in 10 countries around the world and not had this issue! Hopefully Seth will reach out to us to discuss and maybe do a follow up video.
Your explanation makes no sense. If the titanium bars are smaller in diameter, the expansion plug would not be too small, if anything it could be too big. Try again.
Lets not forget when you go over the bars and get your hands stuck in the handguards it will break both of your arms.......Taking a pee with two broken arms suxxss.
usually when im riding through the thick bush (pun not intended) my knuckles are fine its my elbows and forearms that get hit, so just wear a long sleeve shirt I guess
Thank you for continuing to provide awesome and better content throughout this challenging year whether quaranting or injured thank you merry Christmas and a happy new year
Thanks for getting back to some product reviews. I love all of the videos you post, but your pragmatic disposition on new gear keeps me coming back. Since you're in NC now I think you are obligated to show us a biscuit review. It's the local favorite and a good way to recovery from your injury. Keep making great content. Jay
Hand guards have been pretty normal on offroad motorcycles for years, but there can be a problem with those that form a solid loop like these here. A friend of mine was flipped over the bars of his enduro bike with such guards and broke both wrists. This was not just painful but extremely inconvenient (he needed help wiping his bum, for example...) Since then he has always advocated the style that attach only at the inboard side of the grip, and without a metal frame. (and the bike I bought from him is so equipped) This might be a corner-case. I don't know how common it is to be thrown off a pedal bicycle forwards. Rigid guards are certainly more effective, but a decision needs to be made on the cost/benefit by each rider, I feel.
I probably wouldn't buy any of those products, but living in cold and snowy Michigan, just thinking about anything to do with mountain biking makes me happy!
I done the hand guards it literally help so much you could fly through the trees without worrying about your fingers getting crushed or your brakes getting snapped
I'm a full-time bike mechanic and I'm all in for the stainless bleed bucket. So many times I've or another mechanic has stripped out the dinky Shimano bucket. Genius!
Yeah but if you're not careful on somebody who don't have the experience you do using those stainless steel threads can be dangerous and strip them out easier IMHO
I used to run long angled Onza bar ends but ran them backwards from inner bar out to protect the hands against trees and car mirrors. Also helped keep the bike off the shifters or levers when turning bike upside down for maintenance.
Merry Xmas, Blessed Xmas and I wish you health and quick getting back on bike riding with a better new year then 2020! I found this channel recently and im glad I did.
Merry Christmas! I for the longest time never used bleeding tools and just opened the little port and worked with that, works for me, but that stainless steel cup is so cool, if I ever use a tool, it'll be that! thanks for introducing that thing

I wish your hand guards good luck. I have thought about getting some at some point. I wish they weren't so bulky. Can u make them slimmer?
if the ti bars are less than normal 22.2 how does the grip, shifter and breaklevers not slip?
