  • Food plotting & Land management is always a NEW experiment!! Today's Southern Illinois hunting land fall food plot HACK seems to be a potential game changer! Join me for today's Southern Illinois hunting land 2023 fall food plot update and experiment as I tried a different fall food plot hack and planting method that sure seems to be very successful! Every year I try new things and new methods when it comes to planting food plots on our Southern Illinois hunting land. This year I tried using my KIOTI RX7320 as a fall food plot cultipacker, instead of using my traditional food plot cultipacker. And I truly believe that it made a positive difference! I'll let you decide for now, but stay tuned and subscribe to the channel to catch the next fall food plot updates to see how each of my Southern Illinois fall food plots progress, including this one that I used my KIOTI tractor to compact the food plot soil for good seed to soil contact of my fall food plot! Thanks for joining us today if you enjoyed today's land management content please hit the like button and consider subscribing to follow all of our Southern Illinois land management projects, land investing projects, food plots, wildlife habitat improvement projects, our investment property; Project 291 land projects, Kioti tractor projects, bobcat e42 r2 series mini excavator projects, and much more land management and outdoor life adventures! Cant comment on food plotting but from an agricultural view that cultipacker is way to light, there are rollers that are quite sharply V shaped which do a great job of seed to soil compaction and also leave the soil in small rows which help stop soil erosion from wind and also water erosion due to the V shaped ridges left in the field 👌 certainly good to see a plot with a nice coverage of Green 💪💪

Good info for sure. The cultipakcer I have works "OK" but I have to say with the 10,000 lb tractor it seemed to work better!

    That turned out great.
We’ve actually had two rainy stretches and two droughts this year. It’s been unusual this year.

yeah very frustrating for sure. The plots should be quadruple what they are, and some are just total toast with cracked ground and weeds!

I've watched several big rain storms fizzle out right before reaching your area. We've got big cracks in the ground here.

Well we may not be quite as dry as Texas, but dang, we are very dry! Ground is cracked all over! The plots are all barely doing anything! This is my best one, the others are mostly toast! Crab grass! Super dry late Aug and all of Sept!

Hey, if it works, it works. Good to see plenty of Green on that plot. Now, about time to end the food plotting and start doing some SCOUTING/HUNTING!!

Not yet! Still more plot work needs to be done! Soon though! I think...

Joe, this is going to be your year to bag that 10 year old monster, can you just put cams on the outside and inside and push a button with all your technology to get the action live. It’s about time for you to get rewarded for all your hard work. Would love to be in timber this time of year squirrel hunting. Everyone is afraid it will run away the deer. Come opening day and WW3 going on it won’t make a difference. And those monsters will be chasing the Does. ❤️

Hey Buddy! I hope you are right!! But even if it is isn't 'my year' I'm having fun every day along the way! You know how short and sometimes rough life is, so as long as I can be productive and get some fresh air every day, I am pretty happy with that! We are all on borrowed time! We have loads of squirrels here! Cheers brother

Yep I have used the tires to pack with. Slow but it does work!

lol no doubt! The bigger the plot, of course, the longer it takes! But hey, in a pinch, or on a tight budget this will do the job successfully!! Cheers man thanks

What HACK? You really want to be someone on YT that you are using click bait titles to try and get views? You said "I can't say for sure it was because I used the tractor" and went on to say this plot is shaded ½ of the day. Those are some pretty big variables. Farming goes back thousands of years but YOU came up with something you're not even sure worked. Most of your videos are lack luster like this....maybe reconsider your content.

Well seeing how you are up to 36 subscribers on your channel I think I'll take your advice with a grain of salt.. Or maybe a ton of salt..? This video is for new property owners, new food plotters, new adventureres that are just starting out with food plotting. And I keep things real here so that people can decide for themselves. So the evidence does appear that this 'hack' did work, but I wanted to be open about the evidence itself. Notice I laid that all out there so that people can decide for themselves if they want to use this technique or not. BTW thanks for the channel review, but I wonder how many of my 'lack luster' videos you've actually watched..

@@KapperOutdoors2.0 just because someone puts up vids doesn't mean they are trying to get popular dummy. You are promoting yourself and even asking for likes/subscribers but your content is garbage. The click bait title is what you'll find people hate most.

Everything is brown here in Ky. Which means it’ll rain all gun season 😂

Yeah, very disheartening for sure!! At least I have a couple of 'halfway' decent ones since I staggered them all fall, but overall Mother Nature wins again against us food plotters! Best of luck!
