I am at work and this song just popped into my head because I have been playing so many of his songs this past week. It’s like I miss him because in the nearly 20 years since his passing, if he were still alive, you would expect to hear new work from him. He was always releasing new body of work when he was alive. One song I listened to recently was ‘I know’. Your Secret Love was a song I remembered hearing on the radio in high school, it’s a song I would normally hear around 3 PM in the evening in a taxi or at home. It never spoke to me much, but I always heard it and never could pin point when exactly it came out. Hearing the song now just takes me back to a time I thought was simpler, my dad was here the world just felt right in hindsight. OMG, so many people are now gone and I miss them so much. Luther you were an angel on earth and a sound track to life. Only God knows why you went so soon. But I miss you and hope in some other life time I get to physically meet you, hug you and say thank you.
