I have this exact golf cart and am planning this same conversion.. did you leave the rear end stock or did you have to modify the gears .can it handle the rpms?
I've played around with it a bit more and did a 67 mph pass down the road and realized that that's not for me! No belts, no roll cage, low speed off road tires!! I think 67 is going to my top speed. It has a TON more top end left in it but that's going to be for the next owner to find out. I'm going to sell this one now. I have another golf cart project I want to start, and I have to many setting around as it is.
