Upon reading the title, my first thougth was, "goodluck isolating the sound from noisy environment". But then came this "hemi-anechoic chamber" and I was like, "oh, O.K". 😁
Even trees have sound. Nature is beautiful😊
Gosh haven't seen this lady for awhile. Love her presentations 😊
this presenter is excellent!!
Very clever using candle flames.
Loved this , Thank you!
Have always wondered about how different people respond to sound and the different types and frequencies.
To watch some soak in it in calm concert conditions.
Some releasing enormous amounts of energy in rock concerts etc
Some needing to dance (like me).
Some enjoying ASMR.
Some not responding at all.
It seems it is all quite a physical experience after all.
Since then I know it's not my flat anymore it really builds up thoughts about is it or isn't
If only I could listen to my tomato plants to see if they need water. I'd heard trees crackle, but usually it's the branches moving in the wind. I knew how frequency worked from a physical class I took, but it's neat to see how things work. I had a program on my Nintendo 3DS that would allow you to play with a synthesizer and see how the wave form changed. In both the DSi and 3DS systems, you could also record sounds using the built-in microphone, and see the waves. It was neat to see those things as digital images because you can't get all the different qualities in just one simple shape or measurement.
It's evident that fire has particles that can be applied with momentum 😮😮
cool
Wegen zu sehr Lebensschutz? Ah thank you so much my love
👍
if a tree's trunk gurgles and no stethoscope is applied, does it make a sound?
Yes. If there was no sound, you wouldn't be able to hear it using a stethoscope. Some sound waves have a lower frequency than the one our ears can pick up.
a cigarette and a powerful car audio system also works for this demonstration 😁
So are the Fußmatte on when I called for the girl above me
Instead of trying to see soundwaves (which are invisible), you could just try to listen to them.
well aren't you the fucking smart one.
Was she in the Tesseract
2:10 "going in and out"
2:16 "vibrating"
wow that's 2 too many innuendos for a BBC video. 🤣🤣
Depends on what kind of BBC we're talking about
There is a myth in India that once a singer had crashed a glass with his voice --- maybe that's true now.
It's not a myth and it has nothing to do with India. Some singers (like opera singers) can produce sound that matches the resonance frequency of the glass, causing it to vibrate and break.

wouldn't the talking during the "experiment" have caused a disruption?
Ever stood next to a loud speaker at a concert?
