@@SoCalDisneyDadI have a park hopper and am starting my day in DCA. Can I do the virtual queue for Haunted Mansion at 12 if I haven’t hopped over to Disneyland yet?
So after planning a trip there and watching as many of your videos as i could to prepare for my trip, i must say, you helped me out big time, but honestly i found disneyland to be the worst load of crap i ever experienced. They sell too many tickets per day, and take away the fun one could have by doing so. The rides break down too often. Wait times for rides are too long. Service in restaurants suck, we made a reservation at cafe orleans 4 months in advace for our trip, and still had to wait 30 minutes to get seated, the 35 more before our food arrive, not to metion the waiter only came around once to take a drink order. Id rather cut off my pinky toe then to ever go back to disneyland.
@@matthewhryckowian3576 I’m so sorry you had a poor experience. Specifically with the dining. We don’t eat table service all that often, but when we have, we’ve rarely waited longer than 5 minutes for a table, even at a more popular place like Blue Bayou. Disney does pack in the people, and it’s more crowded now than it was before they instituted the reservation system, which is a major gripe of mine.
@@SoCalDisneyDad hey man. I totally respect your videos and advice. I drove drove down from edmonton alberta, canada. And you helped me to navigate the whole park system. So mad respect to you for that. But honestly for the money we paid and to have the rides break down as often as the did. Plus the service, I got to make it my duty to warn people.
Has anyone done single rider with kids who don’t speak any English? Would you recommend doing it if they know what do do when they are entering / exiting the ride.
This right here is why The Falcon is becoming one of my least fav rides. Staring at the wall punching buttons isn’t an immersive, fun ride. The Falcon deserves so so much more as a ride. 😔 25:23
@@Rohroh59 Magic Keys are not currently available for purchase. And no one really knows when they’ll go on sale again. When they do announce they are going on sale, it will only last for a little while. So I’d recommend not waiting to purchase as different levels of pass can sell out before others.
I'm confused!! Very confused! Disneyland doesn't work the same as Disneyworld???? I've seen several of their videos and in all of them they try to skip the two hour rule, but isn't it better to take advantage of it too and have two or even three lightning lanes at the same time?
Using the two hour rule is good for people who take long breaks or don’t show up at rope drop that take a slower pace. But if you’re all about maximizing the service to get as many rides done as possible you don’t want the 2 hour rule. From 8 AM to midnight you can only do 8 rides if you engage the 2 hour rule every single time.
@@kurtrichardson-wv8yk The same way as Monsters. Ask a cast member for a Roo Pass, go to the exit, and then they’ll take you when they have a third row that needs filled.

Didn't Splash also have single rider? I wonder if TBA will be the same.
I’m hoping it will be offered but there is no info yet.
How old do you need to be to be able to go single rider?
Have you ever been to Six Flags Magic Mountain?
I have not. It’s just a tad too far away for us.
Has anyone done single rider with kids who don’t speak any English? Would you recommend doing it if they know what do do when they are entering / exiting the ride.
Can you use the buddy/roo pass as just one rider for monsters Inc and Winnie the Pooh?
@@superjordanreviews1497 Should be able to, yes. Because they are just filling an empty row.
This right here is why The Falcon is becoming one of my least fav rides. Staring at the wall punching buttons isn’t an immersive, fun ride. The Falcon deserves so so much more as a ride. 😔 25:23
I’m hopeful that the new video experience they’ve announced will update it
Can you buy season pass in a certain date or can you buy a season pass anytime?
@@Rohroh59 Magic Keys are not currently available for purchase. And no one really knows when they’ll go on sale again. When they do announce they are going on sale, it will only last for a little while. So I’d recommend not waiting to purchase as different levels of pass can sell out before others.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thank you so much sir I appreciate it!
Also can you please announce it ahead of time if they are selling the magic key pass ahead of time?!
@@Rohroh59 I’ll make a community post as soon as I hear anything. And I’ll likely make a video about MagicKeys within a few days of the announcement.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thank you!
Do you think that Disney will still keep the same single rider system for Tiana’s bayou adventure
Nothing official has been announced yet, so it’s hard to say if it will or not.
@@SoCalDisneyDad by any chance do you know if you are going to Disney on September 1st
@@1mpXls I doubt it. Possible. But unlikely. We currently don’t have a reservation for that day.
How does Winnie Pooh pass works?
@@kurtrichardson-wv8yk The same way as Monsters. Ask a cast member for a Roo Pass, go to the exit, and then they’ll take you when they have a third row that needs filled.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thank you
I hated single rider for incredi. What is that empty seat even for
@@hollybabyyy I have no idea. 🤣
It reminds me of like a wheel well on a vehicle. But a roller coaster shouldn’t have that?
Maybe it’s something for ADA compliance? In case there are people who can’t have people next to them? I don’t know. It’s a stretch.
@@SoCalDisneyDad my first thought when i saw it last year was for disabled folks but then I remembered umm there is no shoulder restraints 😂 so not sure how well thatd go lolll
We googled it and it is for accessibility to allow rider to slide into the seat instead of climbing into it.
Very helpful. Thank you!
