I bought that VR Racing when it came out, I believe it retailed for $90 at the time, which made it far and away the most expensive game. I don't remember control issues. I heard it has issues with some clone consoles, emulators and other systems since it has specialized chipset.
Thank you, Eli! It's been a fun ride to be a part of, and as long as folks keep enjoying the things I say, I'll happily keep saying them. I appreciate you being here!
One of these days, I'm going to subscribe to this service. Till then I'll probably still be going through that 600 in 1 multi-cart, flash cart set up I just got for the Sega Master System. Thanks for sharing with us.
I always enjoy watching your VGM unboxings! When I have a little extra cash on hand monthly, I'll probably subscribe to their service. Worst case, any game that I get that I didn't care for can easily be turned into store credit at one of the various retro game stores here in NYC (provided it's not sports, because they don't seem to like those much).
That was a heckuva VGM box dude! Great selection of classics. Punchout is the clear winner but all 5 games are classic grabs. Very nice man! Lucky month of Christmas presents from VGM. Happy Holidays Jay! 🎄🍻
Virtual racing is a great game on the Sega Genesis I have the original game and I don't have no issues of turning with my copy try to insert the game again and try if you had the same issue try different controller Im using 8bito controller and I have no issues turning
same here. its a great game, way faster than any snes racing games. I enjoy playing it and then playing the 32x VR Deluxe. Of course the 32x version is a lot better, but it's just funny to see how much better it is.
It is the controller and it is a issues with the big six. I have the same issue with that controller. You need a OG one or one of the other Retro-bit ones.
Wow that box was kinda stacked this month! I've been contemplating trying the service out and since I literally just started a much better paying job maybe now is the time.
Don't want to hear about frame differences. lol I haven't played punch out or Mike Tyson. So little NES experience. I would lean towards it being a controller issue. I don't recall having any issue like that when I have played my copy.
Sure is! This is one of the only games that the Big Six has issues with, apparently. Now, I just need to find where I put my OEM Genesis six button so I can play it properly! :)
You sure did make it like a bandit and even if they weren't all super great games, at least there's some trade value there if you decide to go that route in the future. I have no desire to ever try to be punch out. Mr. Dream or Tyson but I wish you the absolute best of luck 😊
great work. Impressive quality in this vid. Its a crime that you don't have more views on this one. You will, just keep the train going! I love when youtube actually shows me another up and coming Retro \ gaming TH-camr. Maybe when I get Back to asia or Stop being a slacker while stuck in the US we could collab sometime down the road. Subbed Liked and dinged that bell that never works for good measure. Looking forward watch your rise,
Two things on the virtua racing I think you just got a bad copy of the game because I own it on the Genesis and I don't have issues for steering on mine Number two some tips on beating Mike Tyson/Mr Dream The key to reading them is arriving the first minute and a half of the fight after that they become pretty easy Also be able lookout for Winnie winks his eyes before he does his garage punch cuz you can easily get stars and be ready to dodge and duck out of the way I haven't actually beat Mr dream but I have beat Tyson all three ways you can beat him knockout TKO and by decision The knockout victory was just a matter of me getting star punches and his life bar only regenerating to very short The TKO victory was something similar to where he had almost no wife coming back from the first round into the second and I was able to knock him down three times in a second round If you do have to go for a decision just bear in mind you have to have at least 5000 points to beat him I will be honest and say what I haven't beaten them in several years because I have an older copy since I was in my twenties but I had beat him in all freeway that you can them To be honest with you I always have more issues with being super macho Man that I did Mike Tyson but that's mainly because that's super spin punch of super macho Man's you never can gauge how many times he's gone to spin And if he spends bored in three or four times then it's hard to stay in rhythm but yeah punch out of one of my all-time favorite games Thank you for reading this sir and thank you for your content I hope you have a great day a great Lord Sunday Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family God bless you and your family sir God bless you Jeremy Scruggs
Thanks so much, Jeremy! I'll definitely be giving things a go with Punch-Out in the new year. I always loved it growing up, but it was one of those 'one day I'll beat it' games - next year I'll have that one day. :) As for Virtua Racing - turns out it WAS the controller! The Big Six is a magnificent controller, but VR is one of the few games it doesn't play nicely with.
@@SquarePegs By the way if you want to practice on Tyson the password to get to him is 007-373-5963 That password is ingrained into my mind along with the Konami code Lol I hope you have a good day in a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family God bless you and your family God bless you Jeremy Scruggs

Absolutely my pleasure to do so. Thank you for watching and for your support and conversations!
Lol "I think this is just a bad game" cracked me up
I got a laugh: that's a win! :D
Watching the car morph when switching to 1st person view makes me think he was right

Nice! Pretty good game selection, Strider was prob my favorite out of the lot
It's so much fun. :) Even as rough as of a game as it is, it's still supremely enjoyable to play.

What a classic and a knock out box for sure!!! Merry Christmas ya'll.
Right back at you, Sarge! Thanks for always watching - I appreciate the support more than I can say. :)
Great box jay lots of fun games!! Strider is my jam
Thank you my friend!
This channel inspires me as a TH-camr
I cannot tell you how much this comment means to me. Thank you.
It is the controller and it is a issues with the big six. I have the same issue with that controller. You need a OG one or one of the other Retro-bit ones.
Ah, damn. Good to know - I'll find one and give it another shot.
Totally jelly of strider!
maybe that is the after market controller because i saw many many videos playing virtua racing making sharp turns just fine
Wow that box was kinda stacked this month! I've been contemplating trying the service out and since I literally just started a much better paying job maybe now is the time.

Nope, the Virtua racing issue is a console one or a faulty svc chip inside, it's a great game.
Ended up being the controller, believe it or not! Needed the OEM to work. It's fantastic with a controller that'll let it play. 😆

You got some pretty decent stuff this time! 😮
The Virtua Racing issue you're experiencing is not normal. Try it with an original controller.
Yup, gotta track down my OEM six-button. It's somewhere in one of my controller totes.
I wish that the Tetris port was more enjoyable.
Oh my gosh, it's so bad. Just the least playable and least user friendly version of the game I've ever seen.
Is that a Jack Knight Starman tattoo on your arm??
IT IS!!! You're the first person to comment on it!!

Number two some tips on beating Mike Tyson/Mr Dream
The key to reading them is arriving the first minute and a half of the fight after that they become pretty easy
Also be able lookout for Winnie winks his eyes before he does his garage punch cuz you can easily get stars and be ready to dodge and duck out of the way
I haven't actually beat Mr dream but I have beat Tyson all three ways you can beat him knockout TKO and by decision
The knockout victory was just a matter of me getting star punches and his life bar only regenerating to very short
The TKO victory was something similar to where he had almost no wife coming back from the first round into the second and I was able to knock him down three times in a second round
If you do have to go for a decision just bear in mind you have to have at least 5000 points to beat him
I will be honest and say what I haven't beaten them in several years because I have an older copy since I was in my twenties but I had beat him in all freeway that you can them
To be honest with you I always have more issues with being super macho Man that I did Mike Tyson but that's mainly because that's super spin punch of super macho Man's you never can gauge how many times he's gone to spin And if he spends bored in three or four times then it's hard to stay in rhythm but yeah punch out of one of my all-time favorite games
Thank you for reading this sir and thank you for your content
I hope you have a great day a great Lord Sunday Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family
God bless you and your family sir
