Awesome video. Please keep these coming. Blastoise was always my favorite Pokémon, and I made the Rain Dance deck as soon as I could back in 1999. I won the first tournament at my local Toys R Us league with it. Although Haymaker soon became my bread and butter due to its incredible speed, Rain Dance will always be my favorite deck. I still have my 3 copies each of Blastoise and Gyarados, and this video has inspired me to recreate my Rain Dance deck (and Haymaker) in order to have some nostalgic fun.

Just shows that flooding energy onto the board is much easier when you can draw half your deck in a turn lol. Nowadays frosmoth box is a decent deck but definitely not op

True, can't see my whole deck while trying to power up a lapras

You still need to be wary of being walled by Mr Mime. That's why it's essential to run Larpras. Also, Lass is devastating against Rain Dance.

I'd say, in regards to the title, it's really between this and Keldeo/Blastoise for the most iconic Water Deck.
This one of course was the OG, but Keldeo/Blastoise was such an insane top tier deck in its own time, that I think it deserves that recognition.

These videos are amazing! I'm glad you're going for more generally captivating content rather than stuff that's too niche for lots of us to watch!
Also you forgot the link for 15/3 format

Think it would be cool of somewhere down the line they went and added past formats to live, with the original trianer rules (or later sets with modern rules)

Rain dance was my first deck and then I quit when team rocket came out. My kid brain could not handle playing with the bad guys pokemon. Also Yu-Gi-Oh came out then and that was fire the first couple years.

Wait, why Maintenance? Doesn't Maintenance suck? When you draw it, you remove 2 cards from your hand to draw another. Another that you may as well have gotten from not putting Maintenance in your deck. Why not take another Bill of you want more cards?

It couldn't compete with Haymaker decks, because they had all that additional space to cram it with broken trainer cards. I disagree with most iconic water deck, because the Blastoise from Boundaries Crossed was better as it wasn't restricted to water Pokémon and it's partner Keldeo had an automatic switch in ability that would make using Catcher against it redundant.
