I love the Luke setup because not only can you sympathize with him more you can’t see his plight of why he is siding with his great grandfather. Also did y’all catch Sally moving on from Poseidon with the umbrella? Great mirroring of the first episode, and setup to Paul. I need season two announcement yesterday!!! 🤗🥰 Everyone did a good job but kudos go to the golden trio of Walker, Leah and Aryan for carrying this show on their backs and holding their own. And they are only going to get better as the years go on. Especially Leah, protect her at all costs. I can’t wait to see what they do next. 🤗

A week later, Gabe has mysteriously disappeared, and Sally has sold her first and only statue, The Poker Player, for the money that she needs to start a new life.

Nice season finale. Mount Olympus is beautiful. Percy finally meets Poseidon. Lance Derrick plays Zeus, the actor's last performance before dying. Lance was a good actor! Rest in peace Lance🙏
i loved this episode, every single aspect and all the things they've set up and foreshadowed. hands down an amazing finale and i'm so stoked for future seasons. i've been loving every change of the series and i come as a book fan who has read all 5 books. i went back and rewatched ep6 and even though it was admittedly the weakest of them it was still a pretty good episode (my main gripe was i wanted the kids to have a bit more fun in the casino BUT i did love everything else about it, so). i hope they get a renewal for s2 - s5 because i just HAVE to see this whole story through to the end. LOL i thought the searchers licence on grover was made up of cabbage and not flowers, my bad 💀

I kinda wished they had kept loyal to the source for two reasons: -I think it showcases evil comes in more forms than monsters, and puts emphasis on what makes Percy a real hero; -It gives more character to Sally, having her choose how to handle Gabe.
I still don't understand why Luke listens to Kronos. Sure, he ruled over a golden age, but he ate babies. His own babies nonetheless. Someone who does that is meant to fail or go too far in his rule. Good leadership starts by being good to yourself and those of your inner circle. It's because of Kronos his parents and grandparents are the way they are.

Tbh even after, if they do get to make those 2 series, they could still make Trials of Apollo. It closes off the stories of all characters and they could just show up as fun cameos per season, so wouldn't be too harsh on any of the actors. Really crossing fingers for that, Disney has a huge treasure on their hands right now

I realise Poseidon could transport Percy back wherever he wants, but "what belongs to the sea can always return to the sea" since he used a pearl, wouldn't it send Percy back to the sea/beachy part of Long Island rather than the grassy entrance of the camp?
The dialogue is great and hope in the next season the make the fight scenes more impactful. Like make the characters loose a limb and proper consequences

My only issue “…and fail to save what matters most in the end.”. What was what mattered most in the end that Percy failed to save? It wasn’t Sally because he was given a pearl by Poseidon so he did save her. It wasn’t the world because he returned the bolt and caused the war to end. It wasn’t any of his friends because no one’s dead. Was his friendship with Luke what mattered most? Am I missing something or is that a genuine issue. That and I didn’t really like that they killed Gabe off without making us feel like he deserved to die. Even the films did that better, showing that he was at least open to getting physically violent with Percy.
im pretty sure he fails to save luke, which is what matters most in the ending- because luke is the start of a revoloution, and the start of kronos and his rising. although he saves his mum, and caused the war to end, he failed to save the start of another war- which is the begining of the downfall of olympus. which is what matters most in the end. i think 😭
yeah i feel like they shouldve shown more of gabes abusive side, but ig in the earlier episodes percy didnt know that gabe was abusive, and he was in all the scenes so they couldnt show that.

They could’ve just done something as simple as a noticeable bruise on Sally’s face or something, Percy notices it and wants to kill Gabe as in the book but Sally says she’s got it covered, cut to the post credits scene.
The saved what matters most is supposed to be him not saving Sally, it's that way in the books too unfortunately, which I really hate. Bc he literally DID save Sally but ig it's one of those prophecies can be interpreted differently type of thing 😭 and also for the gabe abusive thing, it's probs just bc it's disney or something tbh

This last episode was so anti climactic and a disappointment. I loved the series so far but the last episode was a huge letdown. The fight between Ares and Percy wasn't as exciting as the book, Percy didn't take a flight to Olympus, Luke didn't summon a scorpion and so on. They ended the story too abruptly. After a good start it ended pretty flat ☹️😒
No, this was one of the best episodes. Fight scene with Ares was great. You’re really bothered about not seeing a plane flight? Scorpion was a change from the book, sure, but surely the sword fight is more exciting than a scorpion?
I love another streamer's take on people that complain how a book isn't 100% converted to TV, and how he feels they are really sad people and he wouldn't want to be around them. He said if they want book accuracy, then READ THE BOOK and stop watching the shows. He has a very good point! I loved this episode, and as a fan of the books, I think they did an awesome job throughout the entire series.

The most cohesive show disney has put out. I enjoyed it but wish the gods took their natural forms it was a bit underwhelming to see them as humans.

This last episode was so anti climactic and a disappointment. I loved the series so far but the last episode was a huge letdown. The fight between Ares and Percy wasn't as exciting as the book, Percy didn't take a flight to Olympus, Luke didn't summon a scorpion and so on. They ended the story too abruptly. After a good start it ended pretty flat ☹️😒

No, this was one of the best episodes. Fight scene with Ares was great. You’re really bothered about not seeing a plane flight? Scorpion was a change from the book, sure, but surely the sword fight is more exciting than a scorpion?
I love another streamer's take on people that complain how a book isn't 100% converted to TV, and how he feels they are really sad people and he wouldn't want to be around them. He said if they want book accuracy, then READ THE BOOK and stop watching the shows. He has a very good point! I loved this episode, and as a fan of the books, I think they did an awesome job throughout the entire series.
