There is and it is available on You Tube just put David Cassidy Concert In Australia 🦘🦘 🦘 in the Search Bar. It is filmed in Black and White but it is truely BRILLIANT.
There was nobody better than David Cassidy. He was beautiful and his voice would melt you. I cried the day he died. I will forever miss him and love him.
Good grief, i'm stunned even after all this time. Do you see how much he put his everything into "How Can I Be Sure"? So incredibly talented and yet underrated due to that "kiddie pop" image he tried to shake. But listen to those incredible songs by Tony Romeo and his cover of this great tune from The Rascals. They're truly solid remarkable songs. And David had one awesome voice to sing them (pay attention, singers using studio trickery). I wish there was more here, but in the meantime i'm celebrating his life today on his birthday. ❣
He sang that song better than the original, no doubt about it! I met him in 2011 and we did charity work together for atheatre near Jamestown, NY he was SO nice to my husband and my self! It was in the papers! He kissed me FIVE times! I don't know what cologne he had on, but WOW! Kim!
I could watch the 70's live concert footage for hours! He was so adorable! I love his voice! Also, I think this is the best performance of this powerful song, How Can I Be Sure" is the best ever! Too bad the video cuts out before the song ends.
"Sm686" it is amazing that this footage is some 48 years old. Of course back in the 70s film or video or whatever it could be called was technologically advanced enough so that the images would be clear and vivid many years later. In fact there are films and movies that were made in the 1920s and 1930s which are still clear and vivid to this day, but footage of David Cassidy live in concert is rare (apparently filming of live concerts were not always done back then) and the reels or the videos or the film that exists looks like it was done with a lower quality movie camera of the time.
David and I maintained a friendship over the years that began this night. This was shot for my forthcoming North Carolina morning talk show, "Southern Exposure with Bill Boggs." David Cassidy is the first guest whom I ever interviewed for my first TV show..a wonderful man and terrific guest over the years.. Thanks and please subscribe, it's free.
Thank you soooo much! You have no idea what it means to us fans that loved him as a teenager to see him in concert and in color! I saw him in concert in 1972 in my hometown. I was 14 than. This is amazing! Thank you again!
Please, please find it! It means the world to us fans! I never thought I would get to see him in color and so clear in concert from that time. To me this is priceless and his other fans too.
Did you cut the footage or do you have more of him singing on stage? Because while singing 'How can I be sure' it cuts very suddenly. If you have the whole footage of that song, could you please please post it?
Oh my . . . David was on fire when performing, a stage presence and charisma I have never seen before or will again. He still takes my breath away almost 50 years on. The most incredible sensual performer I have ever seen. He had the full package - absolute perfection! Will never forget you David ❤ forever x
"Underrated" singers do not have fan clubs bigger than the Beatles and Elvis combined in his heyday. Underrated means he's playing in a lounge somewhere in Los Angeles and never got discovered..
There's my glorious innocent love-filled youth, right there ! Memory Lane, take me back please :))) Thank you BillBoggsTV, a wonderful moment in time & heart :-)
This is the best 70s concert footage of David I've seen, I could watch it all day - absolutely mesmerising! Thank you so much Bill Boggs for posting xx
That shirt, must have been one of his all time favorite shirts. I loved the clothes so much more than the jumpsuits. I didn't get great volume, but what a voice! No lypsyncing in those days.
That was amazing to watch how gorgeous does he look as always I might add. Thank you so much for posting x Still can't believe he's gone xx love and miss you so much beautiful man xx forever in my 💔💔😥
Great to see this Bill. Just today I was watching the video you did with David eating lobster lunch in Las Vegas. You both had a long friendship and I would love to see the interview!
He sounded really good live. No auto tune for him on the records . . . he sounds just as good here as he does on the recordings. Great voice . . . like butter. Love the jeans! I actually liked a lot of the 70s fashions.
Thanks, Bill Boggs, for posting this new concert footage. You have made David Cassidy fans very happy all over Facebook. I am a grateful devoted fan from Greensboro.
Thank you so much Bill, this is an absolutely amazing video,it is so clear,it's hard to believe it's nearly 50 years old! It's lovely you managed to maintain a friendship with David over the years, saw an interview with David and yourself in a hotel restaurant, where David ate lobster and you had steak, you seemed like good friends then, chatted and joked together! Please, please find some more footage like this,it means so much to us fans,it's very rare quality, thank you for sharing it with us.
Oh thank-you Bill for sharing this footage of David with us all, I really loved watching it. Also great to hear you built up quite a friendship from this. If you can find more recordings of the interview that would be just fantastic. 👍 xx
OH MY!!!!!! WOW!!! It doesn't get any better than this.... I have watched this several times. Now, I'm sad. He's gone-just like a beautiful, special shooting star. Thank you for posting.
Wow, what a delight on this gloomy Saturday morning! It's the closest and longest footage of David in concert in the 70s I've seen, fabulous!! Was there anyone in the audience!? They are certainly quieter and better behaved than we were at Wembley and White City!!
Ah Wendy, you were also at Wembley and White City were you! You will then know when I say you just cannot describe how it felt to be there! Just beyond words!
@@christinefrench5223 Hey Christine xx Yes i was fortunate enough to be at both concerts , so what a joy it is to watch footage from the 70's, I dont know about you but they went by so quickly I struggle to remember a lot of what he sung, don't you think there must be footage of those concerts in the BBC Archives, if they knew how much money they would make if they released them on DVD I'm sure they would dig them out, don't get me wrong I love the later shows, but what I wouldn't give to be able to see Wembley and White City concerts again 😥😥 What do you think xxx
@@christinefrench5223 You lucky stiffs! I was far too young to attend, but I'd imagine I'd have loved it! I wonder if anyone has more footage from this particular show.
Kelly M I was 13 when the show first came on about a year later my friend and I went and got the Cassidy shag after that we got a lot of attention from the girls ! 😙
As a 16 year old guy in Scotland with a girlfriend obsessed by DC, my hairdresser sister spent weeks replicating his hair style on me. I was lucky to have the right kind of hair, but getting that centre parting to stand so high and wide saw me going to bed with masking tape on slightly damp hair!!!!! Not my music, but he helped immensely with my hairstyle (and girls) lol.
Thanks for putting this up, Bill. I'm glad that you and David had a friendship that lasted through the years. You seem like a good guy and he needed more like you around him, not just so-called friends who wanted his money and never paid him back. This was excellent video.
I was born too late to have experienced the Cassidymania, but I have to admit: the man had charisma. No matter where you looked at him, you get glued to his eyes from the first moment onwards. I can imagine why tons of teenage girls' rooms must have been filled with his images in this particular period.
Omg that was soooo good but when footage ended I was sooo sad as got to say he was fabulous here. Just most gorgeous voice.. everything about him. So sad what happened to him and that he was truly happy.. 😢
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am so happy for you that you were his friend. I saw him in concert that same year in Toronto. I was 12 and still love watching him perform. Please share more. It is priceless!! Please consider publishing what you have on David Cassidy´s official website. Jane, who maintains the site does a great job putting together all his work which has been sent by fans and other contributors. Thank wholeheartedly :)
That man had pure talent, both as a singer and as an actor. He’s just so sadly underrated.
It's a crime that there's not a full concert recorded/released. It would be amazing to see a full show of his from this period.

He was utterly gorgeous! The only other singer/musician who was even more utterly gorgeous was Robin Zander of Cheap Trick!
