8/14/71 Garden State Art Center NJ! I was there! My first concert ever! Thanks Mom! I wonder how much it cost for a memory that I will never forget! Praying for David.
I remember seeing him at Milton Tennis Courts in Brisbane. He was brilliant !!! I enjoyed his music so much. I know we are all getting older but if ever there was a lesson to be learnt about the effects that alcohol can have on the body, this is it.
I went to his 2nd concert ever in Portland in early 1971. He wore that white costume with the fringe. I was 12 years old and I think it was the highlight of my childhood!

But he had these combination of sexy, sensibel and sophistication innocance , than he was at his heydays the coolest guy on the planet. If it weren't for the internet there would be no way for so many people to find out about these videos. Of course there could be more footage somewhere but it has not been put on the internet yet. I was alive during that time and I actually was more a fan of other singers and now that I watch some of these videos of David Cassidy, I think that I sort-of missed out on being a fan of his . He is a good performer. And one of the strange things is that I look at these 70s videos and it is a strange Deja Vu because he actually did some moves that Michael Jackson went on to do when he became a megastar in the 80s even though Michael Jackson did it in a more intense way with the crotch grabbing. David shook his hips a lot like Elvis did. Essentially, I am in intellectual shock over how much time has gone by. . David is 65 now and as of this writing, is due to perform in NYC in a small venue called BB Kings . I only live about two blocks away from it. It is nothing like Madison Square Garden or the Houston Astrodome where David reportedly performed in the 70s. David no longer has sold out concerts, and his health has faded also. Sad. Many of us of the Baby Boom generation are on our way out of this world. It sounds corny and petty , but I am glad I was born at a time to have some good memories of the music of the 60s and 70s.

Summer or Fall of 1972, beautiful night. Blossom Music Center ( N.E. Ohio) outdoor concert pavilion.. A young 22 year old heartthrob David💙 Cassidy in his white jumpsuit.. Not much coverage even though for an hour ,D.C. had the pavilion seats on their toes, clapping & smoking and drinking alcoholic drinks in coolers.. In those days, you could bring coolers, boxed wine, picnic folding chairs, blankets & your instamatic cannon cameras with flash cubes. XO❤.
I remember sooo well seeing all those concert pics in TigerBeat back then but the ones with him in the tux are too much and to see a live clip 1:36 to 1:49 is awesome!! I just wish there were more!! :-D

But he always wanted more to rise up to better things he thought he wanted but made alot of bad choices just Elvis Presley did both were lonely troubled souls very talented living in past events that only brought them down to a addiction of drugs a lived a life that was lonely a never fulfilled w an unconditional love a Peace of mind a rest something they both over looked was two women that loved them for them selves Ann Margret a Susan Dey that could made a big difference in both their lives a made them happy ,,,,,but then again they both were married to Attention.
