She is a sad tale. Planning on children and her husband dies from drowning on her honeymoon. The unfinished nursery and her husbands grave on the lot says she didn't get over it and expectedly so being a hopeless romantic who loses her love on their honeymoon would be devastating. Then her husbands ghost scaring away any suitor that comes calling she will age up into an elder alone. All her dreams of love and having a family smashed to bits. As a grumpy elder she gets angry when someone is being romantic publicly because it reminds her of what she herself so desired and tragically lost just as it was really starting for her. I love sims1 and sims2 version of her. She add soul to the game. You do not feel dullness like in sims4. I hope she come back with sims1 or 2 version. Not everything has to be sugar coated EA😀
Once in Sims 2 I made a neighbourhood that I wanted to corrupt as hard as possible to see the havoc that it could cause. I added Mrs Crumplebottom to a family and made her a child with the Grim Reaper. The birth cutscene was one of the strangest things I ever saw in this game. She stood still with a creepy face and a purse in her hands, and the baby was just levitating there. I aged him up and realised he had the 1st face template, and his family tree said his parents are Mrs Crumplebottom and the Grim Reaper. He also had no surname.
Bold of you to add her, I hear it's one of the many things that could corrupt the game enough to make it unplayable, was your save file fine after all?
So she's a grumpy old coot to everyone as a defense mechanism to prevent her from forming relationships and suffering through the pain of loss and eternal separation again? Dang, that's dark.
I’ve only played the sims 4 but I love what sims 3 did with making the family tree even though they are dead which adds something the sims 4 lacks a lot

I love Agnes in sims 3, that’s all I play and I had my sim have a baby with her. She’s amazing
most of the time i played in sunset valley she always gets married or starts dating with christopher steel, and i feel glad for that cuz christopher is a very cool and kind sim!! but usually for some reason they don't have children, also in some occasions she just adopts a random child and becomes a single mother
Sims 1 & 2: Cantankerous, jealous old bag.
Sims 3: You have to feel a little sorry for her.
Sims 4: Slightly less cantankerous, jealous old bag.
So, does this mean there are two Agnes Crumplebottoms? One who is Mortimer's aunt and the other... a cousin maybe? Am I reading that right?
Agnes from Sims 3 and Sims 1 are his aunt. The Sims Team has said that Sims 2 Agnes is different.
@@xxGamer101xxx Ahh, I see. Thanks for clarifying that.
Iirc, the only outsider is the one in Sims 2, they didn't make Sims 4's related to anyone but she talks about Erik and Robert, Sims 3's and Sims 1's love interests.
Agnes is a young adult in TS3, an elder in TS and dead and buried in the Goth graveyard in TS2.
sims 2 > sims 1 > sims 4 >>>> sims 3
the sims 2 version is amazing and iconic
the sims 1 version is also amazing
the sims 4 i think is also actually well done, only i think an extra screechy voice would fit for her lol
Glad to know I'm not the only one missing her unique voice!
I mean Sims 3 Agnes isn't that bad, Sims 3 is set in the past and its showing Agnes' life and showing why the way she is. It offers a good explanation and she has that depressed look.
@@idk_who2320 yeah it was a fun idea, but she doesn’t have special characteristics in the later and past games, she’s just a normal sim with a backstory which doesn’t really affect gameplay
@@xasalia Yeah I agree but I think they did it to give you a chance to change her future and give her another chance.
Cannot believe that this decent widow from TS3 is that legendary angry granny.
I think The Sims 1 is the most iconic and funny one.
her climbing out of the wishing well and immediately fighting the sim is sending me lmao
it's the time for Sims 4 have a voice for old people. Make the game more fun and realistic.
Her getting hit by a car is canon in my sims 4 world
I can’t be the only one who thinks her bag looks like an Hermes Kelly
Thank you for making a vid about her! She’s my favorite sim in sims 3
She will always hitting someone with her purse regardless other life states like vampire od spellcasters.
She doesn't discriminate, all that matters is *they were indecent*
The Mrs. Crumplebottom from sims 2 is actually a distant relative
Wow! Can you do other premade families next, such as the goths and the pleasants?
Maybe, I'm making the Goths for sure but I'm gonna wait cause Sims 4's team has talked about fixing the lore and it'd be interesting to see what they change
@@TheRedPlumbob yay! I can't wait for you to talk about Bella's mystery, or maybe Lilith pleasant... :3
@Foreva lone look up Plumbella, she's done great videos on Bella Goth, as well are Entire History Of various Sim families
I love that in sims 2 she literally crawls out of a goddamn well like The Ring
It's funny that The Sims 3 is the "oldest" of the series. It's a prequel. Mortimer and Bella Goth are kids, and Agnes is a young adult.
3:52 this cracks me up
1:58 This is a mood: ANGRY KNITTING!
sims 1's agnes crumplebottom was the best and most hilarious version of her! Her voice kills me of laughter 🤣🤣
It would be interesting to have a video talking about all the dances in The Sims series.
5:44 Sadako? no! it's even something scarier! it's Mrs. crumblebottom!! 🫨
Why do I feel like I know mrs crumplebottom
It didn't dawn on me that Anges from ts3 was her. I was so used to seeing her as an elderly woman wearing grey, that I thought the one in sims 3 was a random sim. Not to mention, but she was also much easier to get along with in sims 3 in my opinion.
I really like how in sims 2 agnes took bringing hands to the next level by coming out of a well
The idea of trying to WooHoo in a cramped space while someone outside is yelling "BOOOO! BOOOO!!!" 🤣🤣🤣
The voice acting in Sims 1 and 2 is the best 😂 she sounds hilarious
5:48 I died when I saw her crawling out of the wishin well like the ring 💀
my favorite character in the sims 3, i love playing with her. I made her a great explorer, travelling to forget her lost, she's now richer than ever and I adopted many babies & kids so she can give them love the most absolute love ♡
Agnes is like a little grumpy a little chatty and nice and confident and then grumpy and then confident in the sims 4
It amazes me how smooth the animations are in the sims 2 truly a game ahead of its time
Not her crawling out of the well like Samara in The Ring 😢
I love sims1 and sims2 version of her. She add soul to the game. You do not feel dullness like in sims4. I hope she come back with sims1 or 2 version. Not everything has to be sugar coated EA😀
I love the running gag of “She’ll hit the sim with her purse”
5:43 Truth Coming Out of Her Well to Shame Mankind
@@TheRedPlumbob It was on an old computer that barely worked, so I didn't really care. And no, the save wasn't damaged. But I don't recommend trying.
I love Agnes in Sims 3. I put her with Christopher Steel and together They have at least 2 kids before she is an elder.
Sims 1 looked the best. She had the most character and her voice suited her. She also had a wider range of interactions
i love the dialogue popups too, really feels like getting scolded by an old woman and adds a ton of immersion. shes a really endearing character
So she's a grumpy old coot to everyone as a defense mechanism to prevent her from forming relationships and suffering through the pain of loss and eternal separation again?
Dang, that's dark.
1:38 legendary words
Always really love and enjoy these videos! Look forward to them whenever they’re out! Excellent work :D
she must be the mother in law of one of the developers, poor guy 😥😥
I’ve only played the sims 4 but I love what sims 3 did with making the family tree even though they are dead which adds something the sims 4 lacks a lot
I love the family tree in Sims 2!(Also ts3)I also love the past-present-future relationship between Sims 1-2-3.My favourite is Sims 2.I like the backstory in Sims 3.Sims 4 is still good.
The fact that she can beat my Wizards, Grandmaster Vampires, Aliens, and athletes in a fight is amazing and hilarious.
3:51 HAHAHAhaAHAH HOW SHE CLOSED IT WITH THAT FACE HAGHAGHAAHGGBAHAGGaBAHA
I like the mood swing "Crumblebottomed" after you fought her in the Sims 4 😂🙈
I've always thought she was a restaurant manager for some reason in TS1 bcs she was always checking up on the tables LMAO
Idk why but the phrase " hit them with her purse" always makes me laugh so bad
I had no idea she existed, but now I must find her in the Sims world.
Mrs Crumplebottom clambering out of a well like Samara from The Ring is actually hysterical
She never dies.
Actually she did in the sims 2 I think? You can see her grave buried in the goth’s house
@@hungrywarnergaming5263 oh that's interesting
BUT NOOOOO
Agnes Crumplebottom and Mrs. Crumplebottom are two different sims !!!!😳😳
In TS2 Agnes is dead and she just can’t be mrs.crump.
