Wow, c'est très bon et impressionnant. 👌
Tu me as inspiré à apprendre le français.
Wow. Im Filipino American and i had absolutely no idea there was a sizeable filipino francophone population i wanna meet these people. All my life, i alwats though i was the only filipino that had an interest in French culture and language
you should visit Alliance Francaise someday to meet more of them :)
Tagalog has a lot of Spanish)Castellano terms, e.g bicicleta, Meza, silla, ventana, como estás, pirma, presidente, gobierno, etc.
Tu parles espagnol?
Je suis Mexicain de Los Angeles.
Bénédictions
Ahh I used to go there, that place brings back all the memories 🥺

3:33 library en français est une bibliothèque. Oui?
Alliance Française and Instituto Cervantes, both awesome videos.
Looking forward to the Società Dante Alighieri and Goethe-Institut videos in the near future. Maybe the German one can be much later, when you actually can interview in it.
Edit: Oops, I realized the Instituto Cervantes video wasn't yours, but Eric Martinez. You just were in that video also, so I thought it was yours just now.
I might visit in Societa Dante Alighieri someday when they have events like this. Also, I did not know that there is a German school here. I might as well consider learning the language. But it will take a lot of effort.
I actually made a video in Instituto Cervantes with Eric Martinez at the same event. You can check it out in case you missed it.
Note 📝 Certaun philippins inhabitent au Canada 🇨🇦. Francais est un langue official.
Ex.
3:12 The free French course in Québec still exists and there's even an allocation for both part-time and full time students.
thank you for the additional information. Also, good luck to you!!!
For someone who lived 13 years in France and having the nationality, I'm surprised he didn't acquire the right accent and diction. :)
Tres tres intéressant. Next time turn up the volume so that we can your voice and lower down the music background. We need more of these Filipino French language interactions.
By the way, any advice how can I improve my French? I live in Toronto but no plans staying on Quebec haha
Thank you very much! I appreciate the constructive criticism.
My advice is to basically immerse yourself in the language. Imagine the amount of English you consumed since you were a child. Now do it with French. Your language level is directly correlated to the amount of hours you spent with it :)
Oh wow, guy in 1:11 speaks like a native from France. Pronunciation is on point. To think he learned it on his own. Goes to show there is no excuse for the rest of us who want to better ourselves in learning languages. It's true that we shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes, which I'm guilty of.. Say for example, I used to say vegetables for vegetables (correct term is vegetable-legumes), libraire (bookshop) instead of bibliotheque (library), and medication instead of medicament (medicine), and so many more words. And let's not get into conjugations and the correct pronunciation! Just speak and not worry about these details. If they understand you, then that's a great start..
Thank you for this insight!! Yeah I also told him he speaks really great after we talked....
Same happens to me when I don't know a French word. i use a lot of modified english words 😂. You're not alone
the guy at 00:29 meant 1984 ata paps, not 1994 f I heard it right. hehe
Gosh Im a Filipino living in Canada for the last 16 years and I feel embarrassed for not in the least know how to speak basic French.
