Calvin Rodgers is easy to listen to - the pocket is obvious. Other drummer - not naming names - are great with their chops, but Calvin is just...it is just so clear. Not sure if I am making sense, but it is just easy to listen to him.

This IS the most ridiculous video that I've ever seen here on you tube. The way this poor man is gloating over this drummer's performance is absolutely pitiful. A good drummer he IS. But you would think its Billy Cobham or Dennis Chamber or the like. From my personal standpoint ,I happen to think that most gospel drummers really overplay the songs!! But That's just my opinion.
I think it's funny how most Fat drummers needs a pause to wipe there face and hands and breath. When we just rock out with sweat everywhere like it's nothing LMBO. Not a Calvin fan so it was basic to me. Keep em coming brotha
