Something I found out about the hover ability is that when you keep tapping the jump button it propels you upwards more instead of just holding the button not sure if anyone else figured that out
Having issues with high level tames. They take more food to tame and if you take too long in between feeding their tame meter drains constantly. Even worse if they fly into an area with predators because if they get attacked it back to zero%. Kinda frustrating

This game hates Chitin armor lol! They just made another reason to not wear chitin armor. I think the only way chitin armor would be wore ever if it provided more armor than metal. Ark devs should make chitin armor stronger than metal armor. Then maybe someone will actually wear it. But as of right now there is just another reason not to wear it

You could try grappling the sinomacrops so you can tame it more easily
counts as damg so then it will run away from you.

I found them in a swamp area by the middle islet, not too far in yet so I dont know if that is close to the jungle.
Turn it off when taming jerboas it's an instant kill. Found red white blue 1 stopped to look and attack by flyng ants scared them and jerboa to death.
