We are getting ready for the next installment of the popular basketball simulation video game series! NBA 2K25 is in development, and the Visual Concepts Dev team is actively working on exciting features and improvements. Here’s what you need to know:
Release Date: NBA 2K25 is expected to hit the shelves worldwide in September 2024. Pre-orders and bonuses will be announced in July 2024.
Crossplay: Yes, NBA 2K25 will support crossplay, just like last year’s game.
Platforms: NBA 2K25 will definitely be available on new-gen consoles (Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5). Details about availability on “old-gen” platforms (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC/Steam, and Nintendo Switch) will be revealed later.
Cover Athletes: Candidates for the NBA 2K25 cover include Allen Iverson, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, and more.
Game Modes: Expect traditional game modes like MyCAREER, MyTEAM, The City, Neighborhood, MyNBA, Play Now Online, Blacktop, and an NBA Legend Mode.
Visual Fidelity and Immersive Gameplay: NBA 2K25 aims to push boundaries, offering an authentic and immersive playing experience. Fans are also hoping for the return of the Auction House feature.

My wishlist for 2k25
Bring back the high school and college games for my career. Add more college games, if they do bring them back.
Smooth out the rec.
And let the my career be played in different eras.
I know that nobody likes my career, but at least make it fun and interesting for grinding.
I like it for about one season just to try to win a title
this game should only be bought once and be used for about 3 to 5 years.
Players created this environment in 2k bro, and they hate to hear it. This all started at the beginning of last-gen. The license to put out a basketball game was high and 2k wanted a way to generate revenue well after the launch of the game. So we got a beautiful but stripped-down feature version of 2k in 2k14, and they slowly added features back in as the year went on. They would nerf gameplay like the speed of bigs, paste of the game, shot meters, and dribbling to get online players to spend more money. Then they added archetypes and locked basic game features behind an online paywall. Every year they give us something back and nerf or take away something else. It's all about online engagement and spending money on VC. This game will never be great again, just ok.

@@SoSikWitIt 2k17 has a completely different engine from 2k18 to current, 2k17 engine was used only once, and the 2k company either laid off the devs but what was specified by 2k for sure, is that they had the devs make a brand new engine thats been used ever since, 2 likes is 2 people who don't do their research or homework or pay any attention

Actually we need nothing brought back. That's the whole problem if you really think about it. Stop bring stuff back and give us new innovative changes. Not copy & paste something from the past. That's what's wrong with everything that is going on with the game as of today and from previous 2K's. There is no balance.
Nah certain shit from previous 2ks does need to come back. For example, the offline community has been asking for 2k creating a legend game mode for over a decade now. We need also need mycourt back, we need 2k21s build template, they should scrap the city, i hate doing all them fucking quests as if i didn’t buy a basketball game. Its so much I’m missing man, i could go on and on lmaoo
They need the Intimidator badge back they need to work on a defense this game is too focused on the offensive side

@@CrUddyD3vat the beginning of every year with no badges, no one knows the dribble system unless your a true dribble head, no hot ones, not familiar with your build etc people get locked up they complain they need defense, add dribble boosts to limit the offensive player I could go on all day stupid stuff just because you make a game heavily offensive based does not mean people are going to have fun. Hence so many canned animations, people going through the balls and players etc every update defense gets worse
@@VenomLikeDat i agree it’s a lot that could play into this but i been saying most of these same things but honestly 2k need to just do like gta did and take a few year hiatus and just do yearly big updates if they gonna keep giving us this same bull crap every year. All the new things be cool for a minute. Defense will never be a full focus because they have to make this game fun for casuals. I remember you had to be decent at the game. Rec is the worse it’s ever been. The community is a big part of the problem.

Tell them to do away with the badge tiers and floor setters and badge regression
I personally like the way the had it on old gen from 2k20 and 2k20 let us play and grind our badges and that’s that don’t make us have to use badge points on tiers and shit it really just ruins the game grinding your badges used to honestly be fun on the mic with the homies while we’re grinding till we get enough badges to be able to go run park or rec, bring in new animations and graphics of course but man that old badge grind was badass man I don’t like this new shit with the mamba mentality and special mentality badges I really think the game would be better if it was a level floor across all players skill should be the only difference nobody wants to have to be a mycareer warrior
After 19 shit went down hill, if they cared about what community wants they would have listens in 16,17,19 everything after has been terrible. Make my team simply like 17 again take half badges out and have opal highest ovr
Not only do they need to bring back mycourt they need to go back to 2k16 and bring back the Michael Jordan Terminal 23 mycourt. Little customizable stuff like that for me go a long way. Having rare or exclusive stuff not a lot of ppl have typically goes a long way in video games.
one thing that should've been learnt since next gen came out is that simpler is better. Having smaller neighborhoods and simple badge systems and builders are all part of the better 2K's.

buying the exact same game every year that gradually gets worse has got to be some kind of illness. When 2k could make 1 basketball game and continuously update it and patch it every year. its literally a copy and paste there is a foundation already built they aren't making a brand new tripple A game every year from scratch.
Gameplay is one thing but, the whole vibe not gone be right until we get actual parks with cars driving by, a train passing by, ferris wheel etc that city shxt not no where near the same

Every 2k game felt and played differently, so I kinda believe that it's not copied and pasted, but they do need to figure out the game play it shouldn't change every year. Unless it's an improvement.
I think NBA 2k11 was the best , I would like to see 10 day contracts in MyLeague, Another thing I'd love to see in MyLeague or MYGM is something called draft list, from 2025 to the year you're on, you see all 60 picks, who selected them, order number, team, player name, player position, height, weight, college, wingspan, play style , Shaqtin a fool that would be awesome to see, can watch week highlights if you want, drafting a player you get to now see some highlights clips is a feature I want to see.

Players can’t turn their bodies a full 360 to get back on defense. There’s so much dis game needs to work on. The responsiveness and reaction timing is far off
