They didn't throw him away....they weren't paying him fairly for the percentage of work he was putting in....not giving him writing credits and basically treated the dude like a session member. So he walked away from the situation like anyone would if they were being treated like a chump

And now look where they are, has beens lets face it. I still wear my For All Tid shirt with pride, but Dummy Burger as people use to call them hasn't done anything relevant since well before I had a full head of hair and no grey in my beard.

Many of Dimmu Borgir songs were adopted for his voice at early times and still they write new songs with opera singers and make lives with orchestra. Yup its not trve shitty lowscale undead mayhem black metal (love it too but DB just different, no offense), but that is their style, they mixed genres to make symphonic black metal so what now?) Should not this exist? They make beautiful melodical and still badass metal music, I love them from the first song I heard from late albums and to the first ones which I discovered later. It was the stage when I started to switch to black metal. It's a pity I cannot visit their concerts now from ua... 🤘😫
