  • Exploring Mole Creek Karst National Park, we eventually came across Mersey River. This was a great little spot we decided to camp at for a couple of nights. Whilst here, we did some investigating and found some very old cars; some of which Zak believes could be as old as the late 1940's early 50's. In this national park we found lots of nature including a very busy and hungry echidna. On our last night we were hit by Tasmanian showers, this called for some creative work to steer the water away from our camp.

This spot would of been amazing with a flowing river out front. You’re very lucky to see that. I did find the other camp spot you are talking about when I went out on the bike. There were other people camping down there and I didn’t want to disturb them.

The old cars are so cool 😎 I love photographing these old relics. If you don’t mind telling roughly where abouts are they?

Hello Tassiephotographer, welcome to our channel.
The campsite we stayed at is called Bock-Stewart hideaway, it’s along Mersey River in Mole Creek Karst National Park. The national park is near Mayberry. The cars are just behind the campground we stayed at.
It’s very thick and over grown in there, the only way your getting in there is with a 4wd that you don’t mind getting a few scratches on the paint work.

@@tictacaus1554 thank you so much for the help, very appreciated, I have an old Daihatsu 4wd that is my explorer, no $&$#@ given about the paint on that anymore 😂
