Join me as I take my first flight with the DJI Mavic 3 classic drone over Lake Piru in Ventura County, California. Lake Piru is completely full of water overflowing the spillway. Currently closed to boats due to floating logs but should reopen to recreational boating and fishing on April 10, 2023.
Drone flight in compliance with FAA and Los Padres National Forest regulations, in addition no flyover of people on the lake due to temporary boating closure, dam or terrestrial Lake Piru Recreational Area campsites.
