I just finished installing a Camec70L water tank under my tray. The pump I chose to use instead was a Kickass 12L/min portable pump in a hard case. I have 1 tank inlet just behind the passenger side door behibd the driver, one tank outlet mounted in the tray chassis rail as well as an inlet to the tap sitting on the back of my canopy

Great idea too mate, having access to pressurised water while off grid is a complete game changer. 70L is a perfect size too. Plenty big enough.
      Thanks for watching!

Do you have to leave the tank full of water at all times to stop algie build up?

Awesome vid, about to tackle something similar myself. What did you do with the tank breather? Looks like it ran up the headboard where did you run it to and what did you put on the end a filter?

Thanks for the comments mate, really appreciate it!
The breather as you said is run up the same channel as the filler hose. I ran it up to the filler cap and simply just cable tied it really close to the back of the filler. So close that I didn't see the need for any filter, time will tell though. I did see a filler after I bought mine that had a breather housing built in with a filter, looked great. I just can't remember where I saw it, sorry.
      Cheers!

Hey mate. How close is the tank to the exhaust?

      Hey Joshua, thanks for watching!
At the minute it sits about 80mm from the muffler, no dramas at all. However when I finally get an aftermarket exhaust, it should be about 170mm above it.

Can it be installed with a Jimny

Hi Mate, it would be way too big for a Jimmy.
Have a look around though, the Jimny's are really popular at the minute, I'm sure someone would make a water tank for them..
      Thanks for watching!
