So happy to see Gabby incubating. Let's hope she is feeling herself again. Beau did the best he could taking over incubation duties. Thank you for the update, SKH.
Hello sweet precious Gabby. You don’t know this but the world loves you and just wants you healthy!! Beau you’ve been incredible! Just be healthy and happy!! SKH - could Gabby have eaten too much therefore weighed too much to fly? We don’t know. I will stop asking questions and just be grateful and hope all is well! Thank you SKH! ❤️
I don’t believe eating too much could be an issue, Liz. There have been issues with various toxins in prey that can harm them, but this doesn’t appear to be the case with Gabby, thankfully. I have not seen a definitive cause for her absence and we may never know.
@skhideaways- I do hate that there are so many toxins. I am aware of that. I am filled with hope and will stay positive ! Hoping she feels well and all is well! Thank you kindly!! ❤️
Wow, very interesting! Were the eggs uncovered a bunch or did Beau really stay on them? I wonder if they'll hatch. Hopefully Gabby is back to normal now.
They were left at the most 2.5 hours at around 55-60F which put them at great risk. They need constant heat around 99-100F so we can only wait and see.

Suspicious how all 3 cameras went down at the same time this morning.

Beau was on them most of the time. They should be fine. Fingers crossed all is well.
@@skhideaways Well done, Beau!!
When is their hatch dates?
I love watching the nests but dang, it does affect my mental health some days.
Hatch watch starts 11 January. Yeah... they do test our mental stability for sure.
I hope they hatch, since she had a moment of senility yesterday. Hope she is up for brooding her babies!
Are the eggs still considered viable?
Yes. Beau, the male, was incubating throughout Gabby’s absence.
@ Thank God and thank you skhideaways! So proud of Beau!

@dodomax2490 I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere, so thank you for that additional info.
