damn how did I never know Crazy Taxi 2 was in Manhattan Got an OG Crazy Taxi machine in an arcade near me. Guess I know what I'm putting money on next time I go out.
@@Under10Hours you know there was a Crazy Taxi arcade at a burger chain restaurant called Fuddruckers. Back then, this was the nearest place where I can play Crazy Taxi since Fuddruckers has an arcade. Sadly, my Fuddruckers shut down about 6 years ago
I have the original Crazy Taxi on PS2, and along with Simpsons: Road Rage, I just blast through traffic with a devil may care attitude. But, ever since I got Fare Wars on PSP (a double pack of Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, but with changed music... boooo), I feel like Crazy Taxi 2 is a bit underrated. Granted, the maps aren’t as fun to me as the original, but what it makes up for with speed and extra challenge is great! I never owned the third game though and wish it got some Xbox 360/One/Series X Backwards Compatibility so I can give it a try.
If I'm not mistaken you can add the sountrack back to Fare Wars if you have the music files and go into your settings to use custom playlists! That's a really cool feature that probably saved Sega some money in the short term. I'm surprised that with how good 2 is that more people don't know about it. Same for 3. If you can find a way to play it, I'd recommend it for sure.
@@tarheelgaming5007 I don’t even remember watching this video 😂. I just commented the other day on Crazy Frank that you’ve been quiet lately. I’ve been playing the first game on various consoles trying to get better. I haven’t messed with CT3 in a while I’ll probably need some training 😅
@@JMLRetroRoom I’ve noticed that, I miss your CT3 content, and I really enjoy your crazy taxi, fare wars and catch a ride, but I’m still trying to think of what y’all wanna see, and I’m trying to post a pole or something to know what to make first, like a run or a Tutorial, because I have a video idea in mind that I don’t know if I can pull off, and thanks to you and @Crazy Frank for keeping me going
@@tarheelgaming5007 Every now and then I’ll do another game to change it up but my few views as it is go down further and I end up with CT again. So the way I change it up is to play different versions and also different consoles since the experience is slightly different because I’m using another controller. I told CF that I learned how to extend my drifts by watching your CT3 videos. Maybe you should post videos about tips and ways to improve your score on any of the versions. Boosts, who to pick up, stopping and drifting etc. More people pick up the game and play but give up too fast since they have no idea about techniques.
My go to one is definitely the third chapter on Xbox and PC, but the very first I played was CT2 on a Dreamcast emulator and I still have fond memories of it. The first one is a classic, but after playing the other two feels a bit primitive IMO. On that note, thank god for the fan patches for the first and third games on the PC, it makes those ports playable. They are horrible as is
A real shame that 3 got such poor/mediocre reviews at the time. It's an amazing game. 1 just put everything together so well in that 1st Arcade map, its hard to top that.

You’re so lucky, it’s been years since I’ve seen one!!
@@Under10Hours very lucky! There's even a Super Monkey Ball cabinet
@@RushofBlood52 😯 I had no idea there was a monkey ball cabinet. That sounds amazing.

The crazy taxi games are crazy fun
Yeah they are!
I actually never knew that crazy taxi had sequels until I saw this video
Yeah the first one is easily the most well-known one. Probably because of its existence in arcades
@@Under10Hours were the others only for home systems?
Yep! 2 was only ever released on Dreamcast and 3 was exclusively on Xbox. 2 was also included on the same disk as 1 on Fare Wars for PSP.
@@Under10Hours actually 3 was in the arcade it just went under the name crazy taxi highroller
It was also on PC.
I've not given 2 or 3 a shot, I'm so ready to try em out now
i am a huge fan of your content and a massive fan of the style!! keep it up and keep going!!!
Fantastic video, one of my favorite game series. Also loved the fact that you used the music from Driver in the background
I like the fact you used the driver music. Fits really well since it took place in san Fransisco

i really wish sega would make crazy taxi 3 backwards compatible with current gen xboxes.
FUCK YES! I couldn’t click faster when I saw the video title!
All 3 FTW
Did you ever play or have a video. On Daytona USA? For pc
Buy all 3
CT3 all the way 😎
Ain’t that the truth, can’t get enough of it

5:05 Yeah, I don't believe you'd get S rank without using all of these basic moves.
I've only played the first one, I would do some awful things for an arcade cabinet.
A Crazy Taxi x Kanye West Collaboration called Yeezy Taxi.
"no bad game in the series" right have you seen the mobile game called Crazy taxi city rush? or its tycoon game?
