Dante’s Peak is great, and I’m also a fan of Volcano. The River Wild is so good! Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon, John C. Reilly, and the under appreciated David Strathairn, who always brings it! Cool unboxing, Bob! 🤘

Great haul. Everything you got from gruv is a win. Definitely maybe I love. Crybaby is a fun watch. But it's a musical so Idk if you will like . Executive decision is a good film reminds of air force one. Dantes peak is far superior over volcano. You will love. .
Loose disc's don't bother me if they cone in mail. But I don't grab them in stores. Spine slashes. I try not to get .but have 2 steelbooks that do. Because was last one in stores and it was that over nothing
Yeah I won’t grab a loose disc in store if there’s another option. But I’d honestly take a loose disc over another dented or damaged steelbook. I might give Cry Baby a chance someday. But for now I took it out of my pile to watch because of what you said. Like I said someday I’ll check it out I’m sure.

I didn't grow up with Harry and the Hendersons either, I watched it for the first time back in April of this year and I really enjoyed it. It's a lot of fun and has a lot of heart! I'm excited for you to check it out, I hope you enjoy it. 🙂

Thanks for giving us the heads up on those back in stock titles, always appreciated! Hate spine slashes but have been very fortunate so far 🤞 Loose discs irritate me but always seem to work and never any scratches (somehow). Nice haul Bob, that trip in October should be a blast!

I had horrible OCD with my collection so bad it was hard to enjoy it sometimes. But I have gotten better and since I have spine slashes on some I just try to let it go unless its a top 10 favorite Movie then I can't. But i'm more relaxed about that kind of stuff and small corner bents on slipcovers but dents in SteelBooks I will not tolerate lol. I used to be so obsessed with Cry-Baby on VHS as a kid so I hope you enjoy that one. Young Johnny Depp all the way for me too not a fan of the newer stuff either.
Yeah I try not to worry nearly as much as I used to. I feel like it can take away from the joy in collecting. It’s hard to get stuff in perfect condition anyways.

You’re gonna love Harry & the Hendersons. Executive Decision is damn good. Claire Forlani was in Mallrats and Mystery Men. I’d sent it back. I’ve never had a “spine slash” on a SteelBook. Thanks for the video Bob! I despise spine slashes.... more than dents honestly. I rarely keep anything with a spine slash. Gruv's customer service is pretty good, as I recall... but your mileage may vary. Hoping for some good karma on my incoming Gruv order.

I have never had good luck with gruv either Bob. The steelbooks always come in damaged. I’ve replaced them before only to get another damaged one. So I don’t think it’s worth going through the return process. Nice haul though.

I'm picky about dents/dings on steelbooks, I always return those, for example my Dead Stream steelbook was completely bent from Walmart shipping in a damn envelope and had a heck of a time getting another, my wife just found a replacement in another state today! As for spine slashes I'll be honest I don't know that I've ever ran across one, or maybe I haven't noticed them. Loose discs happen here and there but they never seem to scratch or scuff up the discs so I don't care really about those unless the disc holder is broken.
I’m glad you were able to find another Deadstream steelbook. Walmart canceled my order for it. Hopefully I can find another. And yeah I don’t normally care about loose discs unless the holder is broken.
Executive decision more like Under Siege 3. I think I had the same spine slash on my extra HD steel I used for trade in too. Lots of fun titles here today! I hate loose disc and I think companies just hoping we don’t care, won’t deal with ship back or whatever else. They know they ain’t moving it in store so why not just ship it out and blame the mail man. 😂

That was Hocus Pocus 2 behind me. It’s a bootleg copy with a custom slipcover.

GRUV is pretty easy to work with, they might just replace the movie for you... I know Hamilton Book doesn't make you send the errors back. Good luck with all that though.

Loose disc is the WORST! I ordered Tucker and Dale vs Evil limited edition steel book and it came that way! So they sent a new one for free.
They shouldn’t even bother sending something with a loose disc.
