Don't worry about your videos to be too long. They can't be too long because its just amazing and so helpful how you explain stuff. And at the same time its calming in some way :D thanks man!
if you tune the kick to D, E, or F or even G you can perhaps compose in the relative minor instead of the root note of your kick. for example relative minor of D = B. Since you resolve your basslines often to the root of the key you are working in, this would also create some separation between kick and bass in terms of frequency.
that tip on turning off the melody and working through your project really has benefited me greatly. its so underestimated for the producers who struggle finishing music like myself that can be the biggest impact on losing motivation to finish any songs because it ends up driving you crazy cause you start to hate the melody from listening to it so much so definitely happy to utilize this also for the sample pack. I tried using your code "efe20" says invalid. just thought id let ya know-
Fantastic video - so good to see an actual real creative process. Many others do this, but they are typically too pre-packaged or incorrectly paced to actually learn anything from. Been following your videos more and more. Learnt so much on this one. Time to pay your Patreon a little visit.
one of the best channel on youtube for music production. great one!! i enjoyed even if it was a long one. actually sometimes even better to get deeper into the topic or the track. thanks for the great content!!
Your videos so great! If you would create a video series, where you create a full melodic techno track (from idea to master) and keep all the details inside (the longer the better), I'd definitely pay for it and others probably too!
I'd love to see you create a nice groovy bass to go with this track! Its something i'm struggling with at the minute and i'm sick of using the same old driving bass with melodic techno tracks. I have seen your '3 basses of melodic techno' vid however i would still love to see it. Great stuff as always Yalcin! :)
I really like the "growl" of the lower notes in the main lead sound, it's almost like the sound is starting to break apart. It also made me think of Terminator 2 for some reason. Great video man!
Thanks for this vid! The first half of the video sounds like how most of my tracks sound in the beginning - but then a lot of the time I tend to get stuck on building up from that basic idea without it sounding boring/repetitive. Super helpful! :)
Just watched 6mins can already tell that you need to make more such indepht videos i already learned 1 thing. For the people that take production seriously they want to learn as much as possible even if the vid is +1h the things that you learn in such in depht vids overweights the time you watch them. Never think ,o i am speaking to long about this small specif topic, let it out, (: its in those small details that some more progressed producers can pick up on. I hope i dont write something you already know. I dont know if such vids consume more time from your day then the other ones but would love to see such vids maybe once a month. Yea im excited what i can take from this vid. Thank you for your effort as always ! (:
Thanks for showing us the whole this first process!! Would be good for the next video show how to transform a loop in to a long song. I have difficulties to not do a boring song ones a have a short loop. :D Thanks for all your work bro!
Vaguely related to the video, I've just noticed your lovely diffusers on the back wall. Are they custom made or did you purchase them as is? I'm after some myself and those look like the business. Fantastic video too by the way.
Hey Yalcin, grettings from Colombia, how much channels do you thinks its the average for a melodic techno projecto/track? i have this feeling of lacking instruments/sounds/channels cause i frecuently see here on youtube projects with 40+ channels, thanks.
its better if you make full track with bridge and trantitions and stuff. the idea its easy to make. the hard part is the arregment. Plus try to make more complex track not so classic rythms and sounds so we get some idea
I understand what you are trying to say but the knowledge you get here is more than enough for you to make your own song. If you can follow all the steps in this video and still have no idea what to do, then its possibly a lack of creativity and no one can help you with this but yourself. Also , it doesn't sound like you have finished many songs if you expect a 1 hour video that includes finding a unique idea plus a full arrangement lol. Not being a fanboy here, just trying to give you a reality check. Best wishes and work hard every day if you wanna be good
@@markusshoggu no Ellios is absolutely right. His videos are getting boring now, same old easy minor chords only afterlife stuff, no arrangement, no transition. It's not helping lol wtf can this guy even finish a track one day? Go play somewhere else, fanboy...
@@jslg7641 you feel me! The easy part is to make a good solid afterlife vibe! the hard part is to make intresting trantitions and make intresting drops and pads that sounds unique and full of. @markusshoggu trust me i m making some good tracks :p thats why i need smt more advanced. and also i would like to see something with mixing tips. Pro tracks have great pannings and atmospheric vides. not only few echo and valhallas

Great stuff as always Yalcin! :)
great tutorial, every few minutes you reveal another nice trick and it really differs from the stuff other production channels show you. thanks a lot!

Vaguely related to the video, I've just noticed your lovely diffusers on the back wall. Are they custom made or did you purchase them as is? I'm after some myself and those look like the business. Fantastic video too by the way.

Perfect Timing i guess????!!! Cheers Yalcin!
New video! It is very good!
Next very usefull and good video! :) Thanks Mr Yalcin, love Your work!
Any chances to show Paul Kalkbrenner's style?

Ohh yess
I would love to see an Infinite Depth type of track. More dark melodic techno sounds.
Love it! Please yalcin make an dominik eulberg style tutorial.

YOOOO thanks for this
Would it be possible to do a demo on how to make the darker melodic techno like Dyzen?
How can I get the initial template that you use in ableton?
good bro , would u mind to melodic techno like cristoph please thank u
What's the BPM for this project? I'm using another DAW. BPM 122?
I really need Chinese subtitles

Great tutorials, but it's not techno, even if it's categorized as melodic .. it's more of an EDM genre IMO.
Yok ya ben yapamıyorm yok yani olmuyo 😒
I realy like this loop but this lead is awful, rest is beautiful base for a good track
