Hey @crosscountertv, I don't know if you guys have noticed it, but on your advertisement for the Clockwork Technology PCs, you mispelled "superb" where it says "Supurb" Audio I know it's nitpicky, but personally I get turned off by advertisements that didn't proofread all the way. Well, they do press about 2+ buttons at a time per second and the mic is near the stick(they put it on they're collar). I have seen comments about them actually putting another mic on the arcade stick but I'm not sure.

Rich probably has the stronger combos but Yipes is crazy good at improvising decent damage from random hits. Makes sense given his Marvel 2 history.
I give Dieminion props for just playing someone DIFFERENT. God, it's like the same teams, wesker, zero, sentinel, storm, magneto, vergil/dante doom...rinse and repeat.
You mean Chris G using Morrigan? It's the other way around. Dieminion was one of the first few people who knew and used the bullet hell technique. Chris saw the potential and started focusing on Morrigan.

actually it is a lot easier to play marvel 3 with a fightstick than SF4. This is because in marvel you really just have to worry about execution for combos (easy) and reactions to convert random hits into long combos (hard) but that's it. Combos are very fluid in marvel so it feels natural. In SF4 on the other hand, you need to worry about executing a billion things like option selects, tech grabs, reactions to anti-air, reactions to do a reversal, combos, set-ups, footsies, all of these things.

Dieminion focuses on making space and going in slowly with a lot of cover everywhere on screen. Yipes counters that by closing the space with teleports and efficient movement. Dieminion doesn't even have a chance to make space cause Yipes is constantly up in his grill.
To be fair, Justin Wong is a freak of nature. He's good at every game he plays. Actually, he's one of the top 3 in the world at every game he plays, which is kinda scary.

Some people carry over the marvel, justin wong, combofiend, pr rog and rick ortiz are all good at both games. Dieminions issue is his his team just isn't optimized for any of the characters, strange needs a good horizontal assist and morrigan needs a good vertical assist but his team has neither.
If, by definition, a true Marvel player is one that knows the games fundamentals by heart and by using that extensive knowledge creates combos, unblockables, and etc, you could say that he isn't. He doesn't do anything outrageously complicated and fancy and just uses his basic knowledge of Marvel mixed in with his analysis and adaptation. That's why he plays the zoning game - it's because it's the easiest to utilize when playing it in that sort of style. Just a POV and not confirmation.

I dont even think that would have worked. Vergil movement and falling sword bullshit would have stopped any other attempt. If stopped and spaced his way in like justin wong does then he would give vergil time to set-up stuff.
yeah they are good but honestly I think Dante is really balanced, Vergil on the other hand... those swords are insane especially if he's your anchor and u have bars stacked...
its not the bold cancel its when u press b for the actual grapple you have to press it hella late tho thats why yipes is a fucking monster he is doing it consistently every time its crazy

after reading your comment, i thought of something. i always was thought of mvc3 as a 1 hit and your possibly dead game.but it hit me after reading your comment, as crazy and nuts this game is, its sorta like a real fight in that sense. in a real fight, u get hit with 1 solid hit, the person will jump all over you to finish you off.
I think Dieminion needs to switch out Doctor Strange for an assist that comes out faster and helps him keep his zoning game more efficient. Perhaps Doom Missles or Strider's Vajra
id have to disagree because it seems you need a high level of execution to play him, in tourneys even top players drop his combos a good amount of the time. plus at EVO top 8 the only vergils were Flocker and i guess JWong. i see where your comin at since his damage output, reset/mixup potential is ridiculous w/ swords, but its marvel and almost every character has potential to be top tier LOL
