There's no shortage of guitar tutorials, but precious little of acoustic guitar amps for beginners. So thanks for that. I like how you don't assume that we know the technical stuff. There's a great deal of guitar snobbery on TH-cam where the presenters are more interested in showing off their skills. You explained everything clearly and concisely without talking down to the viewer. Thanks again. 👍
Amen, pass the ammo....I thought it was me, I'm a beginner trying to get some background to get me started (got my guitar yeaterday) but the "snooty" element really works my nerves.
At 2:27 you can see that the guitar controls are all at noon/12 o'clock. That would be the most neutral way to EQ your acoustic guitar and a good place to start.
You know that's a great question. He's explaining how to EQ the amp and makes no mention of his settings on his guitar as if that is irrelevant. I'm thinking that's pretty important
yeah but seems to me one of the most important and basic things to go over is placement of the amp like where is the best place to use it if you are playing and singing thru the amp ? Just my 2 cents , Peace
I have a question do you first do the settings on your acoustic guitar, then seperate settings on the amp or do you ignore the settings on the guitar when using an acoustic amp
Yeah I noticed that too. How do you start eqing your amplifier without any consideration of where your controls are set on your guitar first? I would start with my guitar flat and then proceeded to EQ my amp and then tweak the final results with guitar tone. this tutorial makes no mention as if it's not important
So when you start eqing your amp you pay no attention to the EQ that's already set on your guitar? Or do you go ahead and set your guitar to Flat first and then start EQ in the amp
This is probably the single best explanation/clarification of EQ and reverb I’ve ever heard. Great tutorial for beginners just starting to use amps…

Woow this is magic so glad i found your channel
Thanks for the demo! That is a very very fine amp for your demo (Fender acoustic Junior 100). I brought one home yesterday. Thanks again.
Please comment on the settings on the guitar itself. Are the guitar's EQ settings not important when adjusting the amp's EQ settings?

Good one , simple and short✌️

can i use electric guitar amplier to my acoustic guitar ??
How does an (accoustic) bass sound on it?
How does this compare to the fender acoustic 100?
Is that a GS mini?
no. it looks like an 800 series Taylor
How many watts is that app?
ACUS❤
What is the name of that amplifier ? I see it’s a fender but what model? 🙋🏽♂️
Acoustic Junior
Sounds great. But I like to use an amp to modify, somewhat, the sound of my guitar. Unless I do, I just record my acoustic using a good microphone.
Please tell me those amps have distortion!!!!!
I just hope that the guiar doesn't hit the corner of the table when he finishes!😬
😁
Haha, yea that was irking me as well…😳
Wow he's using a Taylor on a Fender vid XD.
You guys should send me an amp because my amp sucks :(
You are a blotooth or wireng please
