I absolutely love that motor and esc. I run them in my Basecamp and it's just perfect.

When i went over to holmes hobbies motors i went 4s. I run 4s even on my wraith 2.2 with pp 3500kv an mamba x. It crawles so slow yet has all the top speed 1 could ever need.
Looks awesome! Got mine in yesterday too, unfortunately I'm sick and feel awful. Can't wait to see how it does on the rocks now too!

Joe once you start running the lower kv motors on 4s you'll have a hard time going back!

I’ve got a reefs 1100 I’m going to put a 1oz stick on weight on it to make up the difference on the weight

No only does this lower the CG, it also moves it more rearward. I guess it's too late for a before and after corner weight measurements?

what did you shim in the transmission? just curious if that will fix my clicking issue and play I have in the output shafts
Did you have any issues with the motor being right on the lower skid. I just installed my stubby kit and the motor is sitting right on the skid.
Are you running vanquish rims? I’ve heard a lot of people having problem with clearance with those brass portals and what size SLW hub are you running for clearance?
Comp cuts should clear it.
Do you notice issues with the front end shifting left and right with the VRD's limited triangulation?

@@iandobbs7823 to clarify Carbon not Carbon Fiber which are distinctly two different materials and processes. Team Associated makes lots of Carbon parts that look like composite plastic but far stronger and more durable than conventional plastics and most composite parts.
