I started with the flight deck.... angled the sides, then cut the bottom to size. The front 1/4 inch plywood I had to soak to get the curves. That was the hardest part.

    It looks pretty good.
I just had a conversation with one of my friends who posted something about this is his so many number of Christmases where he has not gotten a USS Flagg Aircraft Carrier, I told him that I'd wanted one too at least before I seen how disproportionally out of scale it is to the Sky Striker, I said, "maybe if they made it 4 times longer and twice as wide it would be closer to scale, but then I looked up the actual size of an aircraft carrier and even my estimates were way off. The Sky Striker is 1:18 scale, so if someone were to make a USS Flagg that is also 1:18 scale it would be over 60 ft long.

I really wanted one as a kid too.... I got tired of waiting for someone to hand it to me..... Go out and get what you want in the world !!! If you can't find it.... Build it !!! Make your own future and make it.....GREAT!

I absolutely love the video, do you happen to have the flight deck detentions, I'm thinking of making a toy box for my grandson, as he has a bunch of gi joe and other action figures vehicles and aircraft. I thought this would be perfect. The base would be just a box with the USS Flagg flight deck as the lid. If you have any information, it would be much appreciated, and thank you for your time.

I used 5/8 inch plywood for the bottom. 1/2 plywood for the flight deck and tower and 1x6 pine boards for most everything else. Glad you like it.
I made the layout from pictures and movies sorry no blueprints. Check out other videos on my channel to see more of this and other projects that I am working on.
