    I really want to pay heartfelt thanks to Craig for his content.
    I wasn't put forward for a driving test at the end of my 25 hours of training with a national bus company. I experienced several of the instructor/student issues described in this video.
    Craig's content has helped give me the perspective and context to apply to another bus company to complete my bus driver training.
    So muchos gracias Craig, if karma is money you're a wealthy person.

    Can you do a video on right turns for places like new york with some tight 90 degree turns and also hook right turns, some times there are turns when its a parked car to the right and the on coming car passed the line and cant move

      @@DrivingPsychology Your videos are a great help, after passing all three of my Theory tests with the Go-ahead My training was going to plan, until I started my practical then my progress stagnated due to mechanical issues and a really strict instructor that did her best to demoralize her students. I was finding it really hard to relax with her due to her constant breathing down my neck, she was a real bully, eventually, she put me up for a progress check in which they decided to terminate my training which was harsh, This week I have 3 assessments with 3 different companies, hopefully, one of them will get me over the line in order for me to get my full license

      @@thefullenergychannel2879 You should have complained in detail about her. Instructing can be very stressful but the instructor should inspire the trainees. Chances are she was not a confident driver herself thats why she was "over instructing", in other words, nit picking.

      Hi well use the mirrors to see how far to the left and right you are within your lane. Remember your head is much higher and further to the right than when you are driving a car.

      But ultimately it is down to peripheral vision and knowing where the left and right of the bus is while you are looking straight ahead.

    I have just become a training driving instructor after 30 years served as a bus driver,do you have any advice...

    • @DrivingPsychology
      @DrivingPsychology  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi yes. Always remember how hard it was when you first got behind the wheel and the bus didn't do what you wanted it to do until you learned the techniques. Treat trainees with respect. Inspire them with your professionalism and your appearance. Watch my videos about the technical aspects of the job. The Tom and Jerry syndrome, the Cruise Ship Technique and the how position is always more valuable than speed.
