simple, to the point, EXCELLENT. I'm from Germany (left when six, now 75) hooked on marzipan, been making it a few years, and your method IS THE EASIEST AND BEST. Thank you.
Thank you for this recipe very easy to do yours was about the only one I could fine with that the Cup measurements! I'm using it for a poached pear crumble recipe thank you again
Just made this, I've added rum soaked raisins, and will dip in vegan Cadburys chocolate, can't wait to taste the finished result, from the traces in the food processor bowl, the marzipam itself is lovely 😍
I hope you try it out...it really is easy. If you don’t have almond flour, you can certainly use almonds by blanching them and then running them through a food processor. 😊
Yes, I've done it and it works great. You may find the marzipan becomes easier to handle and shape when you add just a few more drops of water. Hope this helps you😊
Yes, it is completely possible. I have used this same recipe for cakes before and it turns out great. You may need to add a tiny bit more water if it feels too stiff. Hope this helps:)
This marzipan can be used in cake recipes such as stollen, simnel cake, and battenberg. I have an easy marzipan cocoa truffle recipe you may find useful: th-cam.com/video/RjQQT3iEWPE/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your question, Sujaya. The difference is in the aroma and taste alone so yes, water can be used to substitute the rose water. Hope this helps:)
The need to state this recipe is egg free is because some recipes do contain egg white. When a marzipan recipe contains raw egg that means it has to be kept refrigerated. It also makes it unsuitable for vegans. Hope that clarifies. Thanks for watching:)

Add a pinch of ground nutmeg for a more authentic taste. Also, let it sit for at least one day to allow all the flavors to come together.
These are great tips, Caroline. Thank you!
Oooh. I love marzipan. But I have never actually tried making my own. You make it look so easy. Is almond flour different from ground almonds?

There is not supposed to be eggs in marzipan at all! Just add warm water, knead and voila- you have it!
