Wow the amount of disrespect shown to the Broncos defense by both of these guys. The Broncos defense is really, really, really good. It’s not at all a surprise they held Rodgers in check and made the Jets offense look silly. Not a surprise at all. Broncos have a stellar defense.
Jets "were a QB" away from the SB. Nope, no they weren't. They got handled at home by a non-playoff team.

No one outside of New York thought the Jets were good enough to be SB contenders. Not with Saleh and Hackett on the sidelines. Saleh has a huge ego, but why? He was DC for Kyle Shanahan. That’s a bird nest on the ground. The Broncos defense terrorized AAron, forcing him into quick throws and sacking him five times. That hadn’t happened to Rodger’s since 2020, and he had never NOT thrown a TD in a home game. How about some credit for the Broncos D making Rodgers look pedestrian? You guys had them winning it all after a victory over the patriots. The rest of us were laughing.

Rodgers was looking at his hands too & he played in green bay all those years. Idk maybe the weather was that bad. Second half was a bit different when the rain slowed down. Neither looked good.

Watch the Jets go to London an be just fine. I think everyone is focusing a lot on the Jets offense and is ignoring the beast that is the Denver Defense. Denver's offense is not good at all, clearly, but their Defense has been largely dominant since the 70 points scored on them in Miami.
I think the Jets bounce back fine, maybe not against the Vikes, but I bet they go 9-8.
Denver missed a 50... AR was sacked 5 times and hit several more. Let's watch this Denver D over the next 4 games and see - I suspect we see more of the same. Maybe more Denver O, really.

the weather helped Denver big time. Denver dominated the line of scrimage without Rodgers being able to open up the game with the passing game. Hall looks like trash. Jet's coaching staff looks dumb. Rodgers backing Hackett is looking dumb. We'll find out soon enough.
@@paulknebel5726 Well, yes and no. It’s true the weather helped Denver ground the Jets passing attack (but the flip side being that the Denver offense had to play in the same awful conditions. Bo Nix infamously only had 60 yards passing). But that said, Denver also shut down the high flying Bucs the week before in perfect weather, holding them to only 7 points. Up to this point in the season, the Broncos have a top 3 defense in the league. They are 2nd in total yards allowed per game, 2nd in sacks, and 3rd in points allowed with 13.8 given up per game. There really is no shame in getting shut down by Denver this season. This is NOT the same team as last year that struggled to start the year on the defensive side of the ball. Everyone was just saying how dominate the Jets looked when they blew out the Pats the week before. I think they will get it figured out.

If the conditions had been perfect, he would have thrown for 120-200 yards and at least one int while Rodgers would have been able to open up the field a bit to help the Jets run game. As it was, Denver O-line and D-line dominated the game. Denver should have won 17-9, but the refs helped the Jets (or Vegas).
They play the Patriots again and need Tua to be out to add Miami to as easy as the Patriots, the Rams and Jags can beat them if they don't clear 14 points. They are at best even in the rest of their games. They have to play better than they have been to make 9 wins. Jags, Browns, Dolphins, 2 teams in the West not being playoff teams are the only reason they still have a good chance to be 7th and lose round 1 scoring less than 17 points.

That might be Rodgers. He's a stat padding master. He likes to get his buddies touchdowns so they get big contracts rather than do what is optimal to win the game. Most players/coaches in the NFL do the same.
@paulknebel5726 , yea, but he doesn't set the personnel on the field. He will audible a play, but he doesn't control the player substitutions in and out of the game. If Allen isn't on the field, that's on the coaches.

Welcome to watching a washed up game manager in NY. He needs to be a little quicker with his check downs and run faster to avoid the rush. Seems to be getting slower in thinking and running ability for being in the NFL. 40 year olds playing football on average teams always take a beating and look dumb, slow and clunky just trying not to make mistakes with the ball. They will be lucky to win seven games this year.
