Here is my addition: Snakes, when they drink, want fresh water or moving water. Water in a bowl that has been sitting for a few days is not really attractive to the snake for drinking. Stagnant water is not good water, so best to remove it. Snakes don't drink often anyway, so the bowl does not have to be in 24/7. If the snake needs humidity, give it humidity. A water bowl is not the main hydration source anyway, it is more of an occasional source.
Interesting & informative!
Thanks!
What are some things that you think will change about care guides in the near future?

Thanks for that addition! I do almost only see my snakes drinking water when it is fresh.
