Imagine building a time. Machine and buying 100 copy of action comic number 1 then hide it in a place secured then go back to your original time line then boom
...Every other kid has done the same and Action 1 is so common people line their cat litter trays with it. Mind you, for some reason they don't line their cat trays with Hulk 181s and some folks think that that is all that that particular comic is good for. (4 'Thats' in 6 words. Got to be some kind of record?)
I have a Loot crate reprint copy of Action comics #1 the first appearance of Superman and it’s amazing to own I am a Star Wars collector and a comic book collector and it’s Great to have
We found one in our Maine home. The strange thing is my Dad had no idea who did it because he hired the man to build the house in 1939. It had other items as well and the person who did it put it away in a steel case safe that was deep behind the wall. It also had our local newspaper, a yearbook from Thomaston, Maine. A ring and personal photos of a family named Keizer. Also had what they called Big Little Books. We sold the comic book to a private collector who lives in Maine. He lives in Bangor. Whoever packed it away as a time capsule did a good job.
I have a first issue superman action comics #1. The back cover got messed up slightly and there is a bit of yellowing. I'd take $20,000.00 for it. I got it from a white neighbour who was from more than Germany, more than 40 years ago.
@@hunk1697 Me? Haha, I will only buy the reprints lol... keep this insane millions numbers for the rich people But man if you are serious you can sell it so easily... it is a treasure man.. gold gold gold
on one hand he's lucky on the other hand he lives in Minnesota for $70 you get a ticket to California it's 73 degrees F today in San Diego on Christmas day it will probably be 58. F
Its all to do with the grading of the comic. If it didnt have a tear itcwould likely be a 2 or 2.5 which is a considerable difference to a collector. No one wants a battered copy.
So he found this in his wall... HONEY, GET MY HAMMER!!!

I found a 1973 Christmas playboy in my dad's wardrobe still my best find
If it's cryptonite for the collectors it would mean that collectors are trying to get as far away from it as possible.
I think they mean it's their weakness
the last person who lived in that house must have put it in there for safe keeping and completly forgot about it when they moved out lol
TraceurHarryG1 lol dude that sucks....
TraceurHarryG1 lol
Could been a child put there never know back in day
It was put in there as insulation. Back then comics were throwaway items.
I found a sega cd in my wall lol

The original owner must have run out of comic boards and decided to improvise with wallboard
Wow it wasn't clickbait, nice
I actually found a Spider-Man comic in the trunk of a old car at the junk yard. It wasn't un the greatest condition and sadly it wasn't no rare gold.

Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed this.
This is actually worth 3 million dollars
Well it is worth 3 million depending on the condition of the comic, and this comic was in really bad condition.

Better to keep such a gold.

It was probably intentional.
It's an idiom.
This is an amazing find! But although it is a little tear in the back of the comic it should still not be $75,000 less in value.
Said the man who knows nothing about comic book grading.
@@Heart2HeartBooks He's right though.
@@brennanshane146 he's not though. Value is something intrinsically set. Ironically, that also means I'm wrong since it's subjective.
