Duran Duran where one off the best band's in the eightes they have reinvented themselves so many times brill, just wish they would play more concerts at home and in lreland.

I was at this gig supporting Duran Duran of course and also another fab fav band played was Keane wow wow wow wow brilliant 👍 they both were and didn't stop singing jumping up and down like crazy fab memories
Saw them several times when I was young and foolish and didn't critique concerts the way I do now. Saw them at Red Rocks in 2015 and HOLY SHIT what an unreal performance. Obviously a well mixed/engineered concert and props to those folks, but the band was unbelievably tight and Simon sounded like he was 25 years old. I think their skills as musicians are criminally underrated. One of the most polished concert performances I've ever experienced. Consider myself very fortunate to have seen the ONLY Red Rocks performance of their careers.
the music is still 1million years advance. if you ever want to communicate with the aliens, just send them DuranDuran music...they'll probably understand humans this time.
This concert was ahead of its time. Hardly anybody cared about climate change in 2007, and it was really hard to get the message out. If you watch the opening of Live Earth you'll see what I mean - for the opening number about 3/4 of the stadium is empty. People only came to see the acts they wanted to see, then they left.

i used to sell guitars mainly basses and factor were a pain to restring and werent great at staying tune i love the sb .lovely piano like bottom end, tons of mid definition and a tight but not too hi-fi sounding treble like you get on modern basses,but its a heavy instrument and the string spacing is very close,its all very personal.
