1997 Lance Legend 990...the largest floorplan that year...two thumbs up!
Thank you! We really like the floorplan so far! Especially since we took out the countertop/cabinet unit sticking out into the space as you’ll see in later videos.

Just watch out for the water damage there in the bed area. If you can already see the water damage on the walls, then be prepared for extensive damage underneath! Would not recommend 😂
We just bought the same camper from a friend for $6000 and today found water damage in the sleeping area.
We are new to camper anatomy.
After watching you later videos of the demolition, I’m dreading what we will find when we start ripping stuff up.

Congrats on your new truck camper! We are camper twins 😆 yes as you saw in the videos we had extensive water damage in the bed area and pretty much had to rebuild that entire area 😣 it was a lot of work!!! We have learned that if you can visibly see water damage then it’s pretty extensive underneath unfortunately. I hope yours isn’t as bad as ours was.

It’s a great camper, we’ve been enjoying it! Good luck on rebuilding the rotten parts. Or rather, patience and persistence more than luck I guess 😅
@@NickandJulie I’m loving mine so far. Slowly updating things . Have had for 5 days now. Ordered led light for the whole outside. Will redo cushions as well. How did you remove the seat on the back bench. The back cushion was only 4 bolts but can’t seem to figure out how to take the large seat out.

II have the exact same camper except my generator is missing I would love to see a video of the generator how it comes out the bottom of the camper for the exhaust because I’m trying to find something to fit in there and see how see if I can make it work
Our generator doesn't want to turn on, we will need to get that fixed if possible. If not, we will have to buy a new one.

The camper alone was $3500, tie-downs purchased separately. This was a month before C0VlD. Prices seem to have risen.

yea i thot lance was supposed to be high quality, odd it had so many leaks
