    The leather corals in this video were struggling a bit with some chemical changes in the tank. We have figured out a better system and they are healthy and back to their normal color. We appreciate the concern some people have expressed about them.

    Got mine on craigslist in 2012 and didn't have the time for it due to college and now that I graduated and have a house I dragged it out of storage and set it up again. No kidding it cycled within 10 days. The older ones like mine, don't have built in light timers. My lizards love looking at the fish.

    Very cool looking. Would this work with fresh water? Or are the supplies saltwater-specific?

    The best of all it has a lid .which is highly important in a saltwater tank 1 number reason for death in saltwater inhabitants is evaporation so it a excellent tank

    Brand new to the hobby .. looking into the bio cube 16G. Can you add your own type of coral ? Or do you have to use the coral it comes with ? ( does it come with coral )

    • @carlosescobar9010
      @carlosescobar9010 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The biocube is just the aquarium, you need to purchase all the stuff you will need to add. Sand, rock, saltwater mix, fish, coral, you get the point. Just do your research. The tank is complete in term of no other equipment is needed to run it

    This is tap water or seawater for that fishs? Thankyou!

    • @tdyrkacz
      @tdyrkacz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      neither. It's salt water. Not from sea. Need to make clean Fresh water using RODI and then add salt to it.

    So I don't have a saltwater tank yet I am researching everything first but could I keep coral and 2 clownfish and a shrimp in here ?

    • @David_Dietz
      @David_Dietz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. However your limited to the types of coral. Stick to softies LPS not SPS. His sps look bleached.

    • @ThatguySmooth
      @ThatguySmooth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@David_Dietz thank you I’ll keep this in mind once I start a tank probably a dumb question but when I put clownfish in the tank could you put an anemone in the 32 gallon gallon biocube

    • @David_Dietz
      @David_Dietz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do anemone. However since the tank is so small it’ll be difficult to keep the water parameters in check. Bigger is better when starting out because the water stays more stable. You might need to upgrade the lighting also. You can message me with any questions. Happy to help. 25+years experience

    Do you have or did you have a website aquarium business? Love the name but years ago I used to buy my supplies from a website - similiar name.
    Was that you?

    Best aquarium made for all in one

    I don't recommend it. I can't see a man being able to get his hands in the back sections for any maintenance. I find the best feature is the light, and it takes a lot of messing around to program it. It is a very attractive tank but I wouldn't buy it again.
