Thanks for the video. I am trying to find a portion of this video or previous videos where you explain how you inserted the skimmer and also an InTank water director in that chamber. I need to do the same and can't work out how to properly do this... do you have that captured in any of your existing videos?
A little late but I just did what you are asking about. I notched the water directly and hung it there with small clip on skimmer, not the hanger that comes with.
The micro bubbles are caused when the cup is not set properly on the unit. I had that problem and noticed it was fixed when I secured the cup correctly.
On a nano saltwater tank instead of running on one of these Nano protein skimmers can't you just run poly filter in whatever kind of filter setup you have I've heard of saltwater tanks that have been untouched without a protein skimmer but they just use poly filter what's your take on this
Great video! I’m new to the world of saltwater tanks and just got this skimmer for my 28g JBJ nano cube. What have you found to be the best water level for this skimmer?
Well, the nice thing is since it's a hang on Skimmer you can easily adjust it... However, I would say slightly below the bottom of the cup, and then adjust the air so the bubbles are at the bottom of the cup. Good luck!
Hey great video have a question I got the same skimmer as mentioned in the video and cant get the bubbles to rise up to the rim. They sit at the base of the collection cup. Any advice thanks
@@SJHarrdcORE90 yes you have to adjust the water level to right above the base of the inner tube. Then turn the air adjuster knob all the way closed and slightly adjust the air flow back open. It will be a pain in the ass until the skimmer is broke in. By doing that you should see the bubbles start to rise up.
Great job on this video man, to the point with videos to show what you are talking about, about to buy one of these for my 40gallon

My skimmer is working perfectly!!
Nice vid keep them coming
Can you drink root beer out of it?
Love your videos dude! 😁👍
Great video man
Micro bubbles is 100% due to whirlpool effect. Re-pointed my power head. Bubbles gone.
Awesome advice. My v2 skimmer is working pretty well on my Biocube, seems to fill up with sludge almost weekly!
Can you tell me where you direct the power head please. I need help..

Will this work on a standard fishtank rather than all in one?
Absolutely, but it does produce Microbubbles as shown in that part of the video, so putting it directly into the display tank is not ideal.
Will this fit in a nano cube 12?? I know water changes should do it but I have OCD about my water quality and i have a heavy bioload
Yes it should. As long as it dosbt interfere with your heater if it's in the same chamber
