Also note how Hersch & Co. manage to poke into all the corners of "Nardis," alternately veiling and peeling away layers of mystery lines and underground harmonies. One really tired of Evans' mid- and late-period manic, metronome-shattering renditions of this tune; it's more of a lullaby than a "Hammerklavier."
