I think atp togashi has made it clear that Hisokas power isnt just the gum but Hisoka himself is also flexible and able to adapt his capabilities to match whoever hes fighting (like starbrand from marvel, obviously hisoka came first but same concept i think). I think Hisoka will continue to evolve as he “fights” the stronger members, hence why after fighting Chrollo his gum was able to help him revive.
I think he has problems with Feitan but only because he might screw around too much. Feitan needs to be dealt with quickly otherwise it's gonna be a bad day

Firstly just from a narrative perspective it would make no sense for this random phantoume troop member to beat Hisoka after Chrollo couldn’t kill him with years worth of prep time. Hisoka is seemingly the strongest person in the troupe after Chrollo as Chrollo really had to prep for a year and use more men abilities than ever before plus adding a new restriction while Hisoka went in to the fight completely unprepared yet he still made it difficult for Chrollo who is the same guy who fought Zeno and Silva and made Zeno sacrifice himself to kill Chrollo in a 2v1. Now imagine him being way stronger with post mortem nen.

This isn’t true morel and knuckles struggled against cheetu they couldn’t land a hit on him both of em them at the same time. Zazan who is superior in every way lost to an only broken arm pain packer no where near death. Even while the fight went on all the other phantom troupe members were confident in beating her so with that said imo morel could beat maybe the weaker members but when it comes to the stronger ones like phinks, Bonolenov, and Feitan I think morel loses maybe even auto pilot shalnark could beat him too.

To be honest i think some troup members are underrated, i think thinkx and feitan have a 50/50 change of winning, uvo 60/40 and chrollo 60/40 as well. In the succession arc the only reason they want to regroup or form small groups is to make sure to kill the clown without any chance of him escaping.

Togashi is not a simple-minded, generic mangaka who plays into fan-service. In fact, i won't be surprised if either Chrollo and Hisoka get incapacitated/killed before their rematch. Hisoka does not need a new ability. But it will he revealed that he is a specialist. He is actually like Kurapika, but in his case he only becomes a specialist when his boner activates.

But you are correct that we don’t know the max number of abilities he currently has, and Togashi can give him anything he wants to trump hisoka.
Hisoka is the winner. Hisoka only Lost to Chrollo because he allowed Chrollo to choose the location and time of the fight. Hisoka himself realized this and made a decision to always be the one to choose the time and place of any fight. This time, Hisoka won't lose to anyone.
Without the cloning, the whole strategy Chrollo used literally doesn't work. The only thing he could still do is run into a crowd and switch appearances. His strategy was reliant on 1. Forcing Hisoka to be cautious because of the manipulation ability (which is now gone). 2. Creating non-living clones which can be controlled (which is now gone). 3. Using the post-mortem nen to keep the clones around when the book is closed and also turn them into bombs (cannot be done).
Since chrollo k1lled Hisoka, hisoka resurrecting means he is under post morten Nen, permanently. Chrollo is not winning this fight without pulling some serious strategy or upgrade in his hatsu - both things he is actively pursuing right now.

I'm ultimately of the opinion that Hisoka will kill most of the troop himself, with mabey the members of killuas family, Macchi, crowlo, and the swords man surviving, he likely wouldn’t want to kill macchi if he can help it since he likes her Nen threads so much (remember, if one impressies him enough he tends to let them live longer, thats litterally the whole reason he didn’t off gong or killua) either killuas family member will get together before Hisoka reaches them or they'll get back up from the rest of the family, the swords man (don't know how to spell his name) i see surving an encounter with hisoka based on how bunngy gum handles bladed attacks and the fact he is considered comperable to the strongest member in terms of abilities, finally i 100% believe Kurapika will be the one to put down crowlo even if Hisoka wins there fight.
Theres one issue i have 1 issue with the thought process for 3:16, and thats the fact that hisoka will literally let his opponents set up there abilities if they intrigue him enough in how they work, such as how he let the tiger dude in the battle tower basically rip off both his arms because he was curious how well he developed the duplication technique. Because of how uniqe and rather impressive and mysterious this guys abilities are (lest we forget he summoned a FREAKING PLANET) he'd likely let the dude set up tell he fully completed the dance just to see what happens even if it puts him at a significant disadvantage, I'd still say hisoka would win but he wouldn't just stomp him outright.
That also depends on if he's seen or heard about the ability before while he was in the troupe. If he's already seen it, he might not think it's as interesting.
@chadam917 that is true too, thought also remember that hisoka was aware of and had seen the leaders ability before and even still he wanted to properly fight them, that and he's seen the nen threads and needles before too and always loved seeing them, I believe even if he's seen the dance and nen powers of the mummy dude before he'd likely still let it happen because it's more fun. of the troop members he's taken out thus far there abilities are rather simplistic so to speak and not very entertaining (at least if you were to think from hisokas perspective) so he's probably weeding out the uninteresting to get to the real fun.
I dont personally agree that Shalnark has any chance at all against Hisoka. Hisoka has already proven that he can dodge the antena while fighting prep time Chrollo, who was using it in combination with other abilties, many distractions, and generally chrollo is just a much better fighter than Shalnark.

I think Hisoka will truly start to have problems when he gets to Phinks. As you said his nen ability is hard to stop and unless Hisoka was hiding his strength Phinks is physically the strongest in troupes just under Uvogin. Feitan I think he is faster than Hisoka which could work out in his favor. I think Nobunaga(?) will be the most interesting to see since at present he is the wild card. The only thing we know about him is that he specializes in one-on-one duals which might work in his favor depending on his nen abilities. Pretty sure physically Hisoka is stronger though. However, I do agree that Illumi is the first person with a true 50/50 chance of beating Hisoka through sheer skill. After all I alway seen them as relative to each other in terms of combat prowess.

I mostly agree with this except for a few things. One I believe you (and many fans) are over estimating Hisoka, he is not able to beat everyone, he’s not the strongest or smartest character, and he got bodied by Chrollo without Chrollo really breaking a sweat. Judging from Feiten’s fight with the ant, I’d say he can definitely contend with hisoka and its not going to be a one sided fight, same goes for Finks. We have never seen Ilumi fight in a serious way, and we dont know the full extent of his abilities, so it’s premature to say how he would fare against Hisoka. And the only way he is realistically winning against chrollo is if Togashi want to kill chrollo off for the sake of the story. Chrollo is the superior fighter, strategist, and his ability is superior since he can have any ability he steals. I like Hisoka, but its clear from their previous fight that Chrollo has the upper hand.

You're heavily downplaying Bolonelov (I think that's how you spell it). I don't think Hisoka can counter Jupiter (even post mortem would struggle), so if Bolonelov can pull it off in time (which I don't think is impossible) then it's a lot closer than you think. I don't think post mortem nen Hisoka would lose, but putting Bolonelov right after the weaklings is borderline criminal.
I think this take is very Rocky, I get he was going off the more realistic kind of approach using only feats we've seen from manga and show instead of kind of assuming or guessing just off display and presentation. However, I feel like you were highly underestimating some of the phantom troop members. Like I personally think Hisoka is gonna start to have extreme difficulty fights around Shalnark. They're practically even matched in lots of areas, because Shalnark is a manipulator, he has to use strategy to really get the advantage on most opponents. Matter of fact the common Nen affinity for most people is enhancers which is just mostly physical fighters. So his battle Iq and IQ in general are probably very close to Hisokas or better out of most of the phantom troupe Also, like you said, if it was in a battle where he knew he was about to fight Hisoka, he could have a plan already set in motion with multiple different people at disposal to fight. Matter of fact, Krollo himself used mostly manipulator abilities to defeat hisoka that played a big part in the heavens arena fight, and as a trump card, Shalnark has an absolute op physical stat boost ability that he can use if he feels that he's about to lose the fight anyway to Hisoka The biggest gap I would say between the two is the fact that Hisoka seems to be the better combatant and that we have seen him do more, but at the same time most phantom true members have been seen to know how hold their own with some pretty decently strong opponents using Nen, even Shizuki can do a little bit. Also, nobunaga also seems to show great promise and strength when it comes to the rest of the phantom troupe. But I'm not going to say much about him because like you said he hasn't really done that much in the show. But I do think you gave way too much credit to phinks, he has such a simple ability. The biggest thing he is got going for him is his tenacity and when it comes to Hisoka I just don't think that's going to cut it. He's like a smarter, probably physically better with just bass nen stats. Most likely a better combatant and has more hacks due to his ability phinks I just don't see doing that well against someone like Hisoka. Even if chrollo didn't have that much prep time, I think he'd still be able to do pretty good against musica. We've seen him literally hold back in 1v2 Zeno and Silva Zoldyck. Uvogin would also give Hisoka a run for his money even though he's pretty basic like phinks his sheer mastering and enhancement and power would give him a lot of trouble because even using bungee gum with stuff in the environment, there's just not enough stuff that Uvogin can't tank through. Feitan I'm not that sure because when it comes to pain packer I don't think any of the attacks. Hisoka would deal to Feitan Would be that strong to give pain packer that much of a boost he took. It seems like the kind of person where when he hits you or something, majority of the time it's to kill you with one shot. Meaning if it hits you're going to die, however if it doesn't hit or he grazes you, it won't do much, especially because he uses cards as his main weapon source. Franklin might do a little bit well, but he seems to be the least prepared mentally to fight Hisoka. I think his strategy of just standing on the open is very reckless and not that smart and he's highly underestimating how much of a nen genius hisoka is. That's all I have to say about this. All in all 6 out of 10 video.

This isn’t true morel and knuckles struggled against cheetu they couldn’t land a hit on him both of em them at the same time. Zazan who is superior in every way lost to an only broken arm pain packer no where near death. Even while the fight went on all the other phantom troupe members were confident in beating her so with that said imo morel could beat maybe the weaker members but when it comes to the stronger ones like phinks, Bonolenov, and Feitan I think morel loses maybe even auto pilot shalnark could beat him too.

To be honest i think some troup members are underrated, i think thinkx and feitan have a 50/50 change of winning, uvo 60/40 and chrollo 60/40 as well. In the succession arc the only reason they want to regroup or form small groups is to make sure to kill the clown without any chance of him escaping.

After everything going on currently in the manga, why do you guys think Hisoka will go around conveniently fighting every single one of them? Togashi is not a simple-minded, generic mangaka who plays into fan-service. In fact, i won't be surprised if either Chrollo and Hisoka get incapacitated/killed before their rematch. Not saying it won't happen, I'm just saying Togashi isn't one-dimensional like you guys and Hisoka/Phantom Troupe might have more to worry about like Morena, Tserri, Nasubi, Kurapika etc.
My advice: Forget about who you think will fight who and let Togashi cook.
Hisoka does not need a new ability. But it will he revealed that he is a specialist. He is actually like Kurapika, but in his case he only becomes a specialist when his boner activates.

Without the cloning, the whole strategy Chrollo used literally doesn't work. The only thing he could still do is run into a crowd and switch appearances. His strategy was reliant on 1. Forcing Hisoka to be cautious because of the manipulation ability (which is now gone). 2. Creating non-living clones which can be controlled (which is now gone). 3. Using the post-mortem nen to keep the clones around when the book is closed and also turn them into bombs (cannot be done).
Since chrollo k1lled Hisoka, hisoka resurrecting means he is under post morten Nen, permanently. Chrollo is not winning this fight without pulling some serious strategy or upgrade in his hatsu - both things he is actively pursuing right now.

I'm ultimately of the opinion that Hisoka will kill most of the troop himself, with mabey the members of killuas family, Macchi, crowlo, and the swords man surviving, he likely wouldn’t want to kill macchi if he can help it since he likes her Nen threads so much (remember, if one impressies him enough he tends to let them live longer, thats litterally the whole reason he didn’t off gong or killua) either killuas family member will get together before Hisoka reaches them or they'll get back up from the rest of the family, the swords man (don't know how to spell his name) i see surving an encounter with hisoka based on how bunngy gum handles bladed attacks and the fact he is considered comperable to the strongest member in terms of abilities, finally i 100% believe Kurapika will be the one to put down crowlo even if Hisoka wins there fight.

Theres one issue i have 1 issue with the thought process for 3:16, and thats the fact that hisoka will literally let his opponents set up there abilities if they intrigue him enough in how they work, such as how he let the tiger dude in the battle tower basically rip off both his arms because he was curious how well he developed the duplication technique. Because of how uniqe and rather impressive and mysterious this guys abilities are (lest we forget he summoned a FREAKING PLANET) he'd likely let the dude set up tell he fully completed the dance just to see what happens even if it puts him at a significant disadvantage, I'd still say hisoka would win but he wouldn't just stomp him outright.

@chadam917 that is true too, thought also remember that hisoka was aware of and had seen the leaders ability before and even still he wanted to properly fight them, that and he's seen the nen threads and needles before too and always loved seeing them, I believe even if he's seen the dance and nen powers of the mummy dude before he'd likely still let it happen because it's more fun. of the troop members he's taken out thus far there abilities are rather simplistic so to speak and not very entertaining (at least if you were to think from hisokas perspective) so he's probably weeding out the uninteresting to get to the real fun.

Hisoka has already proven that he can dodge the antena while fighting prep time Chrollo, who was using it in combination with other abilties, many distractions, and generally chrollo is just a much better fighter than Shalnark.

I think Hisoka will truly start to have problems when he gets to Phinks. As you said his nen ability is hard to stop and unless Hisoka was hiding his strength Phinks is physically the strongest in troupes just under Uvogin. Feitan I think he is faster than Hisoka which could work out in his favor.
I think Nobunaga(?) will be the most interesting to see since at present he is the wild card. The only thing we know about him is that he specializes in one-on-one duals which might work in his favor depending on his nen abilities. Pretty sure physically Hisoka is stronger though.
However, I do agree that Illumi is the first person with a true 50/50 chance of beating Hisoka through sheer skill. After all I alway seen them as relative to each other in terms of combat prowess.

I mostly agree with this except for a few things. One I believe you (and many fans) are over estimating Hisoka, he is not able to beat everyone, he’s not the strongest or smartest character, and he got bodied by Chrollo without Chrollo really breaking a sweat.
Judging from Feiten’s fight with the ant, I’d say he can definitely contend with hisoka and its not going to be a one sided fight, same goes for Finks. We have never seen Ilumi fight in a serious way, and we dont know the full extent of his abilities, so it’s premature to say how he would fare against Hisoka.
And the only way he is realistically winning against chrollo is if Togashi want to kill chrollo off for the sake of the story. Chrollo is the superior fighter, strategist, and his ability is superior since he can have any ability he steals.
I like Hisoka, but its clear from their previous fight that Chrollo has the upper hand.

You're heavily downplaying Bolonelov (I think that's how you spell it). I don't think Hisoka can counter Jupiter (even post mortem would struggle), so if Bolonelov can pull it off in time (which I don't think is impossible) then it's a lot closer than you think. I don't think post mortem nen Hisoka would lose, but putting Bolonelov right after the weaklings is borderline criminal.

I think this take is very Rocky, I get he was going off the more realistic kind of approach using only feats we've seen from manga and show instead of kind of assuming or guessing just off display and presentation. However, I feel like you were highly underestimating some of the phantom troop members. Like I personally think Hisoka is gonna start to have extreme difficulty fights around Shalnark. They're practically even matched in lots of areas, because Shalnark is a manipulator, he has to use strategy to really get the advantage on most opponents. Matter of fact the common Nen affinity for most people is enhancers which is just mostly physical fighters. So his battle Iq and IQ in general are probably very close to Hisokas or better out of most of the phantom troupe Also, like you said, if it was in a battle where he knew he was about to fight Hisoka, he could have a plan already set in motion with multiple different people at disposal to fight. Matter of fact, Krollo himself used mostly manipulator abilities to defeat hisoka that played a big part in the heavens arena fight, and as a trump card, Shalnark has an absolute op physical stat boost ability that he can use if he feels that he's about to lose the fight anyway to Hisoka The biggest gap I would say between the two is the fact that Hisoka seems to be the better combatant and that we have seen him do more, but at the same time most phantom true members have been seen to know how hold their own with some pretty decently strong opponents using Nen, even Shizuki can do a little bit. Also, nobunaga also seems to show great promise and strength when it comes to the rest of the phantom troupe. But I'm not going to say much about him because like you said he hasn't really done that much in the show. But I do think you gave way too much credit to phinks, he has such a simple ability. The biggest thing he is got going for him is his tenacity and when it comes to Hisoka I just don't think that's going to cut it. He's like a smarter, probably physically better with just bass nen stats. Most likely a better combatant and has more hacks due to his ability phinks I just don't see doing that well against someone like Hisoka. Even if chrollo didn't have that much prep time, I think he'd still be able to do pretty good against musica. We've seen him literally hold back in 1v2 Zeno and Silva Zoldyck. Uvogin would also give Hisoka a run for his money even though he's pretty basic like phinks his sheer mastering and enhancement and power would give him a lot of trouble because even using bungee gum with stuff in the environment, there's just not enough stuff that Uvogin can't tank through. Feitan I'm not that sure because when it comes to pain packer I don't think any of the attacks. Hisoka would deal to Feitan Would be that strong to give pain packer that much of a boost he took. It seems like the kind of person where when he hits you or something, majority of the time it's to kill you with one shot. Meaning if it hits you're going to die, however if it doesn't hit or he grazes you, it won't do much, especially because he uses cards as his main weapon source. Franklin might do a little bit well, but he seems to be the least prepared mentally to fight Hisoka. I think his strategy of just standing on the open is very reckless and not that smart and he's highly underestimating how much of a nen genius hisoka is. That's all I have to say about this. All in all 6 out of 10 video.
